JessOfAllTrades
Awesome week 1! And great idea doing the tourist in your town thing. And yeah, I used to do a lot of cosplay, but have since stopped going to cons and putting the time/energy into costumes. I have a few of my greats posted in my gallery from the cosplay thread. It's definitely a hobby I miss and I may or may not have a folder now on my desktop titled "Femshep Cosplay" ... >.> <.< Storytelling Rebel | Blog | Twitter "“You've seen my descent, now watch my rising." ~ Rumi Link to comment

lilbichy
This week has been going good. i am actually ahead on my life things, which I usually put off until the weekend. I had Tuesday off so I did some of my self esteem book and also worked on the room. We should have that room done this weekend, which will be nice since school starts next week. I also brought my book to work and was able to work on it a bit yesterday during down time. My workouts have been on track. Tomorrow I plan to do a cardio strength class, woot! Eating hasnt been the best still at a B level. It is hard to sit down watch a movie and not munch on something unhealthy! LOL damn those movies! I was approached by one of the trainers a couple weeks ago at the gym, she asked if i was training for something and asked me to join a running team with her, for a half marathon! My attn span will not handle that. I talked to her again today and she wants me to join a class she is trying to set up which will help with endurance on runs and stairs. I think it sounds fun! It is kind of a booster having a trainer approach you and want you in her class. she also mentioned me joining her group and doing the incline in colorado. I actually got out and was social last night! LOL too bad I didnt set that up for bonus points this challenge. It was nice to meet other people from these forums! they were all super nice and I had fun =) Link to comment

Pallas Athena
You sound really happy with how things are going! I think you should take bonus points for socializing just because you feel like it. If it makes you feel that good, you're leveling up, imo. So glad to hear things are going even better than expected. And I know what you mean about the movies. Have you tried setting a time limit for eating in the evening--i.e., nothing after 9pm or something like that? I've found that helps avoid (or at least reduce) the endless snacking. GoodDoug
The way we have worked at avoiding snacking is to make the snacks difficult to access. Put them on the high shelf, put them in the shelves in the garage, or just don't have them around at all.Otherwise, I can't resist their siren call. turbo_tortoise155
Looks like you are doing soo great!! I'm glad you got a lot done and got out to be social! It feels so good to have lots of stuff done early in the week... to me its always a great weight lifted off your shoulders. Personally the whole no snacks past 9 thing won't work.. Its like a reverse psychology thing. I HAVE TO HAVE IT!! I just don't buy snacks to put in my house. I don't have older kids though... it is harder to be snack free then. I am starting to dig for the positives daily though. Getting a little rougher coming up with things at this point.Life - 67%..... I didnt work on cosplay this week. Kids room is almost done then I can write this off and focus more on the cosplay. Also I did spend extra time on my self confidence.
