this week has been going strong!  Workouts have been on target.  Eating has been great!  I worked on Cosplay yesterday and my kids office room is pretty much done, mostly left is them to decorate.  This weekend I am running a 5k  (hooray) so i wont really have a rest day.  Friday we are going to 6 flags, so the only class I can take for the time would be a spin class, which has me a bit reluctant.  Who knows, I may love it, which is a reason why I need to just stop anticipating it being awful and relax.

You're really killing it on this challenge! I struggle a lot with these, so it's really cool to see you doing so well. I've done spin a handful of times this year, and I've got to be honest, I wanted to quit the entire time for the first few sessions, but there's something really gratifying about making it to the end of class, and much like the obstacle runs (I'm a Warrior Dash and RFYL vet myself) at the end you have a very real sense of accomplishment. Just go for it!

Life is full of hard times and good times. Learn from everything you can.

I agree with everyone else, there's no need to feel guilty, you've racked up more points than anyone else, you can definitely take a night off to go socializing.  You're doing a great job, keep it up

 

Hell take the week off. You deserve it :P

 

I did go to spin class.  It was fun, really liked the instructor and the music.  My lady parts did not enjoy the class very much LOL OUCH! 

 

Nice. I taught spin class at my local rec center for about a year. Then my real job got in the way! Oh and two words: bike shorts.

I second the biking shorts idea. I have a pair for when I go home and mountain bike and they're a worthwhile investment.

I think if i ever go to another spin class, i will def buy a pair first! 

 

goals have been going good this week.  I figure tomorrow is like halfway mark so I will take my measurements again, kind of nervous!  Today we did a 5k color me rad run.  We only walked it, but that was still nice.  I feel kind of lazy for not running it!  LOL  So much color!!

Right!   Lazy!!!!    miss 15700 points.  I think you can take the walk without anyone thinking you're lazy.  good luck on your meansurements tomorrow.  I'm going to try and do the same, hopefully we'll see some progress.

Sometimes it is nice to take things slow. You did it with your kids too, right? So you got to spend some time with them WIN!

 

I'm glad you enjoyed the spin class! I hated hated hated that one I was in, but I don't think the instructer was good though. I really should try again in the future. When I went to mine I put a towel over the seat, lol. It fell off too early. :nonchalance:

I think I enjoyed the spin class because it was all songs I like.  So even if I got bored, I just started singing in my head! 

My kids did not do the color run with me.  There are only a couple they will do with me.  They do online school so they do their school work at night and sleep all day so getting up to be at the race by 9am is waaaay too early for them.  LOL oh to be a teenager again!  It was my mom and brother who did it with me.  My mom has knee problems so she cant run, my brother and I decided to walk to keep her company.  Usually him and I compete to see who can finish first LOL, next month we will!

So far during the challenge this has been my best week!  All workouts completed, plus I went to gym this morning to help with my bad mood.  So I get an A for first goal.  I have been pretty good with eating, except for last night I wasnt so great.   I will keep on track with eating today which will give me a total of like 96% healthy eating, so I finally get an A for that goal.  Tracking is an A as well.  Life challenges, my daughter and I spent a lot of time working on our cosplay yesterday.  I also spent some time researching things I need during the week.  The kids room is done, for my part.  The rest is up to them.  I figure now I need to work on re-arranging the living room since their computers are gone.  I worked on self esteem book 2 times last week.  I also went out Friday night and socialized!  It was awkward, but I survived!

Great week.... now to the other great part.  Today was my take measurements to see progress.  It was better than I had thought.

 

Height - 5'5"

Weight - 119.0 (down 4.4 lbs)

Neck - 12.25 (down .25)

Chest - 33 (down 2)  ok I either measured wrong one time or they really are the first to go, even when you dont have much to begin with!

Bicep - 10 (up .25) Im getting some guns!

Waist (taken at belly button) - 31 (down .5)

Hips - 34 (down 1.5)

Thigh - 19 (down .5)

Update.  This week has been fantastic!  I went to a hot power fusion yoga class.  I was so scared to go, like had to talk myself back in to it several times.  I was searching for an excuse to skip this weeks class, but I went and LOVED it.  I feel extremely relaxed and refreshed after.  I read part of my self confidence book earlier in the week and am starting to put some of the tips in to place.  I have actually been feeling pretty good this week.  Food has been right on.  I even went on a date last night and was able to stay on diet, without being tempted!  This is my bday weekend.  The meals I requested to have with family are all on my diet.  I am going running at 6am on my bday too.  Excited for that!  Today I am going to get a new tattoo and then I will start shopping to make belt for cosplay.  All goals on schedule!  =)
