MinionLove:- First challenge

My main goal: Quest
Lose 20lbs (way more to lose but breaking down into smaller goals)
 

I will do that by:

1) bodyweight circuits 3 x a week (I already walk 30min every morning)
2) eat only 1 packet of crisps a day (max)
3) move every 2hrs (going up the stairs and back down)

Life Quest
Spend more time with my nieces (once a week)
 

Side Quest

Mordor Challenge

 

Motivation
I want to give myself better chances to get pregnant, lower my risk of other complications, and to not be a burden in the case of a natural disaster!

Lol Jane, I dont know what natural disaster is going to happen here in the Uk, (touch wood) but after watching 'The Impossible' last year it has really got me thinking, and all those Zombie Apocolypse movies certainly dont help! They show me i will be one of the first to die! haha. Atleast you can run far enough to hide ;)

I have to agree. Preparing for a disaster of some kind is always a good start in the right direction. And the Zombie Apocalypse movies don't help. Or some of my friends that really want a Zombie Apocalypse to happen. lol. I'm just blaming it on the fact that they work at a Haunted/Scare attraction for the Halloween season. ^.^

Yay! Thanks Nuala :) Could do with all the cheering on anyone can give :D Whilst realising its my own problem, my husband isnt the most supportive on this journey! We have had a talk about it and some of the issues. lol so it can only get better!

 

In other news' 2nd day doing the beginner bodyweight training... omg big sweaty mess over here! lol... also, couldnt do 3 circuits :( only did 2, so does that effect my goal on here? cos I was thinking if it doesnt effect my quest, i could do 1 circuit for 1 week, then 2 in week 2, then 3, and stay at 3 for the remaining weeks. should I edit my goals? Or does it not matter?

Lol Lullaby, im a big scaredy cat! i hate haunted houses! which is weird cos i love zombie books/movies haha. After I've lost the weight I want to lose I'm going to work on my swimming, very weak swimmer atm, and if we ever get a natural disaster here its going to involve water! i always have 'just in case' items in the car boot, house, everywhere. LOL

It doesn't affect your goal. For now you can do only 2 circuits but soon you'll do the three and after a while you'll find that it's not enough :D  The beginner BW circuit is made to be tweaked to your level, in the number of circuit and exercises. Keep at it and always try to do the maximum you can. If you can do 2 circuit, no need to go down to one, stay at 2 and strive for 3 :)

 

I'm sorry to hear that your husband is not supportive... yet. I'm sure he will change soon enough when he will be inspired by your progress and willpower. So keep at it! We're here for the moral support :)

I am in the same position in a way, I have started this quest so many times, my better half just shrugs.  So I am not telling him that I am starting!  I eat my own type of paleo (otherwise known as "permanently cheating") and I have actually put weight on.... hmmm.

Brush it off and keep trying :) oooh thanks for the link, I was wondering how to find my team :D I'm only on day 4 overall so hopefully by the time week one of the challenge starts I'll have had a week to get used to what I've outlined in my challenge :) making my way over to the CareBears.. is that my team name? Day one was great! Exceeded expectations! :) walked almost 3 times more than planned, ate approx 1650 cals, didn't get tempted by hubi getting a burger, and only ate one crisps.. yay! And set my timer to go off every 2hrs so I dont forget! So today has been a success :D

How was your first day? :)

It reminded me how much stretching could hurt :D And thinking I'm supposed to stretch every day for 2 weeks at least makes me freak out, but I'll do it!

Lol paleoish, 41 sounds scary! I can only think one day ahead or a week at the most!

Today is a body weight workout day. Them planks are haarrrrd. I sweat so much from this circuit it's crazy. I don't think I've ever sweated so much from anything before!

I'll do a proper update later :)
