Ahh, a rainy evening all by yourself with a book (even if it's studying and not for fun) and a cat - sleep well. Sweet dreams.

Yeah, it was pretty great. The roof is kind of a metal roof so I hear the rain very clearly-and I love that sound!

:triumphant: on the 15k run, boo for the blister but at least its only a little one.

Yeah, I'll run tomorrow again and see if it goes...

Body still feels ok so I guess I was up for the change. Now time for Friday yoga on the porch in the evening sun :-)

Summary of the week so far.

Yoga every day, not always in the morning though (5 am is EARLY). It feels great but of course it takes time to build a habit. There is some resistance. I win!

Sleep, 7 hours every night so far. I wake up at least once during the night but at the moment I easily slide back into sleep.

Studying, once so far. Plan to do more tomorrow.

Also plan the next run tomorrow. Did my 15 k's-and it was looong.

Wishing you a peaceful and serene weekend.

I think I just heard my feet try to say they would strangle me in my sleep if I tried to do a 15k.    /bow   Great job!   5AM is not that bad.   That's when I do my mile swims while my body is in fasting state.

Seeing what you do yogawise that is probably possible ;-)

And - I'm sure you could manage too, as stubborn as you seem ;-)

Thank you for the compliment, the endorphins were sweet.

Need to work on 5 am...

cool running achievement! :)

also you made me think about learning to get up early... i read a great post by leo babauta ( "zen habits") about how to start doing that...

keep kicking @ss!!! :)

Thank you!

I'll try :-)

Yes, getting up early is good, I kind of didn't manage as many times as planned-getting better this week.

Congratulations on the 15k - and with just one small blister! Nice!

I love the rain on a metal roof sound, too - so calming.

Thanks!

Blister is still there but running seems to work anyway.

Summary week one

Yoga: 7/7

How did I ever manage without it?

Working on flow, and putting extra focus on arm balance and the wheel.

Running:

15+5+6,5

Feels great and exciting. Pushing my limits ...

Sleep 7 hours 7/7

I have focused hard and prioritized going to bed and it has led to success!!

Studying

3 occasions. Satisfactory. Still working on the book from last challenge. Soon finished.

And, I am much more aware-making every day work-finding myself reflecting at least once a day over the most important points that day, my achievements, taking breaks...

I have chosen to believe in myself.

Congrats on sleep! I am working hard on getting from 6 back to 7!

:-)

I would like it to be 8 but 7 works fine. It's almost ridiculous what big difference it makes in my quality of life to get a good nights sleep. Especially now that I am (a little bit) older ;-)))

Sounds like Week 1 has been a success!  Has it been hard getting to bed early?  I definitely need to work on my sleep patterns (I think I've said that before - haha!).
