I haven't done my real measurements yet, I am planning too though before Monday. The nice thing is though is that my main goal all along has been getting stronger and my workout progressions show me that every day, so even if my measurements haven't changed, I'm still happy!

Here's my pay-it-forward, share the wealth information.

 

It is incredibly easy to make herb or fruit infused vinegars. i recently made cinnamon pear balsamic and hot damn is it tasty!

 

Here are the directions:

 

1 - clean a mason jar or jar with a lid of some sort

2 - cut ingredients in desired amount (I used half a pear and 2 sticks of cinnamon) and place them at the bottom of the jar

3 - fill up the jar with the balsamic vinegar so all contents are covered (I used a salsa jar and filled it 3/4 of the way)

4 - label with date and place in a dark place where you won't forget it!

5 - wait two to four weeks depending on how much flavor you want to infuse (mine was delicious after two)

6 - strain through cheesecloth and into whatever you want to serve it in

 

It tastes so good on salad, avocado, or as a meat marinade!

 

Other flavors I am going to try (as a reward for finishing my first exam in grad school) include orange-ginger, apple, strawberry-basil. Any other suggestions on good fruit/herb combos?

 

I am going to bottle some different varieties for a cheap Christmas present for friends.

Also, a funny thing happened to me this week. I had my husband take an "after" picture of the last 2 months. I was super excited to compare to the before picture, because I know I've been feeling super strong and when I look in the mirror I look great! Plus, the hubby's been a little extra handsy and complimenting me a lot, lol. Anyway, he took the picture and I compared it to the before from 2 months ago...it looks almost exactly the same! It was a perfect reminder to me that so much of my body image (and how other people see me) is really all about how I feel and view myself. Because I was working out, I feel great and am stronger which makes me have so much more confidence in myself and my body, which in turn made me think I look great and even affected the way my husband was responding to me. I'm still hoping to have more visible proof of my work in the future, but this time I think I needed a reminder that how you see yourself is a huge part of the battle!

 

I am so happy your confidence has improved, as well as your fitness level. Your visible proof will come along, for sure, but it is all about how you are feeling about yourself and your body. Congrats lady!

Holy crap, you spam aholics. So are we registering ourselves in the adventure group or just the accountabilitbuddies in the adventure group? Also I like the paying it forward idea, but I hate squats and they are hard on my knees sooo if we could not do that one, that would be great.

Hi! Sorry about the late response,my mom is in town. If we can cross guild then awesome,and I will likely throw my hat in with the rangers as well.

As far as a group side challenge I am totally open to suggestions. I like the idea of switching between different things, maybe a strength goal, distance goal, something.
