Spider-Dan's Battle

Well, today is my first day back at it. Mama and baby are doing good, so I took the other kid to school, came home, and started to rock.

I am keeping it simple for a little while. My focus for now is on the basics of Push, Pull, Squat, and Core.

Today's Routine:

Pull-Ups - 8 x4

Knees to Elbows - 8 x4

Tire Flips - 10 x4

Decline Push-Ups - 10 x4

Right now I am just focused on base strength while really trying to make sure I have the endurance for the Tough Mudder in KC next month. I am up to running 10.5 miles at a 7:30 mile pace.

Thanks, JessFit! It has been hard to get to that run pace, but I have to admit running with a Siberian Husky does make it somewhat easier. He tries to keep me moving at HIS preferred pace, lol! I am kind of nervous about what it will be like to run the Tough Mudder without him. The farthest I have run on my own is 6 miles. 

 

I think for the next Challenge period my goals will look something like this:

 

1) Resistance training using NF - Level 3 Body Weight 3x a week

 

2) Learn new Kung Fu form Tienxingquan and practice it at least 100 times.

 

3) Drop body fat to 8% (9.9% as of this writing).

 

4) Complete all obstacles at Tough Mudder and Spartan Sprint uninjured
