Evicious
First workout of the Challenge was as follows: Bench press: 4 sets of 25/25 (oly bar - so 90Lbs total lift weight), 10 reps eachChest cable flys: 3 sets @ 60Lbs, first reps I managed 10 reps but the last one I only squeezed out 8, so I dropped the weight on the last set to 50 Lbs and cranked out 10 thereBent-over rows: 4 sets @ 20/30/40/40Lbs, and even though my tri's were burning by the last set, I think I need to start at 50Lbs in order to make this exercise worthwhileOverhead tricep extensions (cable): 4 sets @ 30/20/25/25Lbs - again, I'm still trying to find a good weight for this. 25Lbs was the closest I came, so I'll probably keep that and work up.Dips: 4 sets of 95Lbs on the counterweight machineCardio: 2mi @ a 10 min pace, walked a lap (1/4mi, so it was about a 5 min break), then finished up my 3rd mile, again @ a 10 min pace. Cooled down with another 1/4mi lap (10 min) Evicious, Khajjit Ranger STR 7 | DEX 13 | STA 3 | CON 6 | WIS 16 | CHA 4 Current 4WC: Evicious: The Unburdening II + Blitz Week! Fitocracy! I Play To Win! As example you can write down how your workout was, if you go outside for your walk and how long you walk or what you have eaten. Lupus: I have a facebook account too. Did my first workout this challange and feeling good. Link to comment
Teros
ok, update time! JessFit, I can't find your challenge thread, do you mind posting the link here? The very first post of this thread has EVERYONE'S (sans JessFit for now) challenge thread. (I think. let me know if your isn't.) There's no real rules to this. Update your challenges, follow each other, offer words of badassery and encouragement, and keep on rocking with your challenges. If you have questions then post them in your thread and on here if you want to we can help each other out. Melkilkate- You just update with whatever progress or troubles you have been having. Do a great workout? Tell us about it! did you have a road-bump with some food at work? Let us know! Having trouble with what workout to do or just want to know more about something? Ask! Also- if anyone wants to make an official facebook- that's totally up to you guys. I don't use facebook so I won't be the one that would make the group. If you do, just post the link here. as for iirc, I never used that either. Whatever you guys are up for and whatever keeps motivation going for all of us is GREAT. Link to comment
Evicious
Ugh, apartment troubles! Apparently something happened to the water lines, and my kitchen sink got clogged from the backwash - and then it kept slowly filling up! I spent the morning bucketing water out of the kitchen with a plastic mixing bowl and waddling it down the hall to my toilet. X-D It was lunch time before the maintenance guy finally showed up! Thankfully, everything is back to normal now. And on the plus side, I managed to clean up a bit around the apt (since I already had to clean up the mess I made with transporting the water). I didn't fast today over lunch like I usually do, and chose instead to go out for Mexican with my fiance'. We rarely get to see each other throughout the day, so when our schedules sync we try to take advantage of it. I feel horribly bloated, but it was worth missing a grading point to see him. Just need to remember to meditate and stretch today! I totally forgot yesterday, so I'm down two points already. EEP! ravnos
What stretching are you guys doing. That is one piece that I need to add in. I do this, pretty basic, yoga routine before my workout, going through it progressively faster it up my heart rate as I go. it's easy, so good for beginners too. http://vimeo.com/8045412 Level 5 Viking Berserker Str: 10 | Dex: 10 | Stam: 8 | Con: 15 | Wis: 18 | Cha: 12 Battle Log || Current Challenge Log Fitocracy | My Fitness Pal | Runkeeper Twitter | Xbox Live: ravnos13 | PSN: CrawlingChaos13 Nintendo ID | Steam ID | Battle.net: ravnos#1547 Link to comment
Evicious
Hey, it's a good workout! LOL Good point! And so was all the cleaning up after. What stretching are you guys doing. That is one piece that I need to add in. Well, I haven't been (as of yesterday, when I was supposed to start, dammit!) but when I do (as I will do today, dammit!) I usually focus a lot of my hamstrings & quads, and on my shoulders (both of which are painfully impinged, I have learned). But you can google for stretches for just about any particular area you feel tight in. Teros
I suck at stretching. Seriously. So I do a basic setup. For stretching, I try and do this:http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/stretching/SM00043 and that's pretty crazy Evicious. At least it's fixed now. Crisis averted. Link to comment

ravnos
fansdfaeasdlvj I can't stand WoW anymore. I played a Hunter from Vanilla to Pandaria and they've completely ruined the game for me... Sorry, I recently convinced my girlfriend to quit playing as well, it's kind of a rant for me. Blizzard is worthless. Seriously though, if you still get enjoyment out of the game awesome, it can be a lot of fun. I played on... Chromaggus, Blackrock and like three other serves (my guild liked switching services for some reason). But mostly those two. wstallone
I still play WoW actually about to log in on Thorium Brotherhood. I don't raid anymore I raided Vanila to Wrath then got completely burned out and quit for 3 years. Came back this time last year and play a few hours here and there. Not every day like I used too. The people I am friends with are what make the game for me. If they where not there I would have quit again a long time ago. Just finished my intervals, pull ups, and stretching. I added pull ups to the daily routine as I thought I needed more upper body. When I first started this I was soar immediately after my work out and it continued for at least 8 hours. Now after about 2 weeks of working out. I can feel my muscles but they are not soar and I am back to normal in 30 min or less. I feel I am pushing my self hard as I am barely finishing my last set. Is this Normal?Do I need to be doing more? Level 2: Half-Orc AdventurerSTR 4 | DEX 3 | STA 2 | CON 2 | WIS 2 | CHA 3"If everyone has a Demon in them, then mine loves dead-lifts." Loopus
Ive never liked WoW - im more EvE, if it wasnt so complex...wstallone - no pain no gain, dude.Do what Muhammad Ali did - only start counting when it hurts, coz then you're hurting anyway and you may as well get some reward from it.Add weights to yor pullups. With the intervals, stop and do some bodyweight stuff during your 'slow' sections.
