Jonesy
This is going to be a tough challenge for me that's why I'm calling it my Tough Love challenge. I always seem to struggle with getting in my workouts and the following goals give me no room for slacking. As for my eating, I want to combat my sugar and food cravings and thought the Whole30 program would be helpful with that. I'm also going to try to find a Whole30 Accountability group because I think this will be needed. 7TH CHALLENGE GOALS - TOUGH LOVE CHALLENGE - TrackerGoal 1 - Whole30 with possible reintorduction - + 5 CONGrading-This is pass or failGoal 2 - 3 days of cardio - + 3 STA + 2 DEXGrading -16-18 days completed = A12-15 days completed = B7-11 days completed = C0-6 days completed = FGoal 3 - 2 days of strength & 1 yoga/Tai Chi - + 3 STR + 2 DEXGrading -16-18 days completed = A12-15 days completed = B7-11 days completed = C0-6 days completed = F My motivation this challenge is to lose inches and weight to make traveling to see my mother more comfortable. Tateman
Like Blaidd said, it might be rough at first especially on other goals. Teros
Nice organization. Just a quick question. Do you know what's in the sausage? How do you make asian meatballs? Sausages usually have some sort of no-no in them and I have no clue how to make asian meatballs. There might be an ingredient in that non-whole30. Link to comment

Sausages usually have some sort of no-no in them and I have no clue how to make asian meatballs. There might be an ingredient in that non-whole30. Yes sausage can be tricky! With these, I do know what's in the sausage because I'm making them myself, you can find that recipe here from paleOMG.com. I'm only changing it a little and taking out the coconut sugar. I also found Aidells smoked sausages, those are the ones Tateman suggested. You need to read the label on that brand though because some flavors have added sugar other than fruit juice. As Devyn said, I got the recipe for Asian Meatballs from the website, nom nom Paleo. You can get sausages without a bunch of crap in them. And if if it's the Asian Meatballs I think they are (from Nom Nom Paleo) they'r Whole30 approved. Yes and yes! I'm finding that bacon is an issue around where I am and not so much sausage. The stores all sell bacon with added sugars and the butchers I called are all out. Lol. I'll be subbing the bacon this week with artichoke & garlic sausage until I can get bacon. Also I recommend lettuce or salad leaves with most meals as well for extra veg goodness. I often ended up using salad as like an extra plate for me meal I have weekly meal plans for the whole challenge, right now. They might change as I get more comfortable and find out how much I really need to eat but it's a good start. I was truly terrified of going Whole30 because I know how I am and changing my eating habits has always been something I said I could never do. My last challenge I did a lot of planning my meals and it helped me make better eating decisions, which pretty much lead me to thinking I CAN do Whole30. I just needed to do some research on meals and plan ahead. As for leafy greens, I detest salads I have to make myself. I also tend to waste a lot of my salad and forget to eat it before it goes bad. I do love spinach, which I'll be putting in my food but just eating a plain salad, at this point I won't do it. I want the Whole30 to be as painless as possible. Lol. Maybe once my taste buds get away from the everything must be sugary, I can add in some salad. The Applegate that the Nature's Market near me has in stock, has either Maple sugar or evaporated cane sugar in it. I went looking for that brand, just for that reason and can't find a sugar free one. I'll just wait until one of the butcher's around me gets in Bacon.
