Pallas Athena
Yeah, congratulations on the shrinking waistline! You might try a different brand of jeans? Anamal
COOL! That's gotta make you feel better, your waist is getting smaller and you got new jeans! Lucky!! Yeah, congratulations on the shrinking waistline! You might try a different brand of jeans? Some have more of a fitted waistline than others.Yeah thanks! These are Old Navy brand which I normally don't wear, I'm typically an American Eagle fan, but I tend to have this problem with all my pants... too much junk in my trunk, but I'm ok with that My friend who I've played soccer with since childhood says she wears the Levi's "curvy" jeans because of the same problem so maybe that's something to look into. As of today I haven't worked out all week but since I have my soccer game tomorrow I'm just taking it as a rest week to let my body reset itself. Especially because my muscles still feel strangely tired today. Last night I was at the grocery store and ALMOST fell into temptation, but I resisted. Instead I ended up with ingredients to make spicy pork lettuce wraps, including gluten free soy sauce. I'm getting much better at this whole paleo thing. I did have some wine with dinner and a little dark chocolate after, and maybe that's adding to the muscle tiredness I'm feeling today. I think after Halloween passes I'm going to try and minimize my drinking since I find I get hungover more easily now and generally don't feel as well when I drink. Happy Friday everybody! Pallas Athena
You're the third person in a row I've read posts from tonight who had pork last night (including me). Must be the season. Ours was yummy! Spicy pork wrap sounds delicious, too! i don't eat too much spicy food these days because my grandson doesn't tolerate it very well. I miss it. I've found, too, that the healthier I get the less well I tolerate alcohol. I only have a little red wine on very rare occasion these days, and I don't really miss it. Once in awhile I have a beer when the weather is hot, but that won't happen again for months now in our area. Hope you have fun at your soccer game tomorrow! Thetemplarreservist
Congrats on resisting the temptation at the Grocery store. I have several female friends who lift and they have the jeans issue sometimes just because of there thighs being to muscled to fit in the jeans they end up buying a size or two up and having to get the waist tailored down. Keep it up baby steps and every time you resist you have a victory. “Happiness consists in getting enough sleep. Ba'sini'on
My mom had that issue growing up, her thighs have always been muscular. And growing up in the 70's with the tight hoochie bellbottom pants going around, shopping for clothes wasn't her favorite pastime. She ended up mostly wearing skirts and buying "plumper" women pants and then just having them tailored. Thankfully we now have a variety of sizes and styles so it's just finding the right one! Have you looked at Wrangler? Their jeans are mainly for horseback riding but they've always had more room in the butt area, so you don't get a wedgy in the saddle. Plus, due to being designed for riding when you sit the jean won't cut into your stomach, or gap out in the back. Their a little pricey but I just rummage through the clearance rack for a better price MMmmmmmmm pork..... I miss it.I buy this chili garlic sauce, it comes in a little container with a green lid, its from the same company that makes Siratcha sauce. And I put it on so many things! That way you can spice up your food without having to add it to your grandsons Although speaking of beer, last night I went and had pizza and beer with dinner before a Halloween party, and I'm fine with it. It was a concious choice and my little Halloween treat and now I'm going to try and eat well until at least Thanksgiving. Also today will be my first day back in the gym and I'm so excited to start working out again. This week off has been nice, but now its time to go back to my standard schedule. Link to comment
