How was the weekend?

 

What's the plan for this week?

 

Any meals planned?

Hmmmm...

Yea.

I'm doing burritos tonight (mashed kidney beans, burger, mexican cheese mix, onions).

I also have simpler ones: tuna fish, curried rice, and I need a good dressing for the last of the cherry tomatoes I picked yesterday. I might make it if I'm feeling particularly brave.

How about you? What's the stove gonna magic up for you this week?

Huh, kidney beans and burger meat in a burrito, never tried that. Is that your own recipe? Or is that how they do it in Vermont? Because I've heard tales of the burritos made in the East compared to how their created in the west.

I just thought of it as I have a can of kidney beans and I like them a lot. Don't know how it will come out.

We in the east rarely understand good texmex food. How is the eating going in your world?

Leave out the tex and embrace the mex! Carne asada, pinto or black beans, queso blanco, homemade flour tortillas, habaneros, rice, salsa, and much more! Nom nom! That's how they do it in Mexico! One of these days you and I will meet and I'll make you traditional Mexican cuisine.

 

Eatings good, have an overabundance of salad stuff and almost every morning I've made myself eggs, bacon and salad. And my sis is making really interesting but delicious meals! Just tonight I had cheeseburgers that had pretzel buns, and the meat was square shaped instead of round. And the French fries were baked in olive oil instead of fried.

Finished last week off great? Not really. But finished off well? YES!

FOOD: I didn't cook another stock item, but did make myself some burgers and asparagus tops. I bought the items for my balsamic vinaigrette, but the courage has not come along yet, so we'll have to wait and see. I bake a few cookies and enjoyed those. I just bought chicken to go with my next batch of curried rice and some more frozen veggies (peas and whole green beans). I have tuna to make as well.

 

EXERCISE: Slow start to this week as my body is recovering from the 2 hikes per day for the last 11 days. I am going to PT again for my hamstring. It's not fully recovered. This will allow me some free gym time again which will be good to get in before the snow falls. It also means I may not ba able to run much. So BW exercises will be a major focus for the next challenge. My push ups need help!

 

HEALTH: my biochemistry research went no where, but it's not that big of a deal. I've been focusing on getting healthier food in me at my pace (actually better than my prior pace so yeah!).

 

LIFE: $500 to credit card debt. YEAH BABY! I spent a few bucks at Wally-World so I can have jeans that fit, yeah again. But the rest has to go to the credit card and my braces account.

 

NEXT CHALLENGE: Bring It On!

BW exercises and dancing (I need to keep up my lung capacity work, especially if I'm not running much over the winter). Cooking and fewer sugars after the afternoon (haven't picked a time yet). Also, want to approach my projects in life a different way than before. I'm going to start out doing 10 minutes of a project per day. Any project, doesn't matter. I did this in my first challenge for working out and it worked beautifully.

Yea, I'll definitely level up this time. Had solid progress overall and that's my goal.

I love that you are working so hard and seeing improvements in real life things :)

Not all of us start with great life habits and just need a tiny push to superhero status, for us, normal life can sometimes be harder than anything that "seems" amazing, so when we get to doing the superhero shit....we are VERY badass, and I definitely see the badass in you, always have <3

Hey T, when you hit level five what are you going to do? In games you usually get a Perk, Talent, Slot, etc. when you hit level five.
