I think i'm gunna pick one of your workouts someday and try it when I get back to my old gym. I feel like I'll die which is kinda what I've been going for lol

Ok haven't posted in a few days went rucking on sunday about 6.5 miles with a 50 pound ruck and then a 25 pound team weight for a couple of miles lots of fun

 

beat on the tire and did some bench press yesterday

 

Ok today yayayay did the 3 rounds for time of the twelve days of christmas

 

1 95 pound clean and jerk

2 225 pound deadlift

3 95 pound front squat

4 pullups

5 pushups

6 box jumps

7 20 pound wall ball

8 20 pound wall ball situps

9 Jumping lunges

10 53 pound k bell swings

11 burpees

12 overhead press 95 pounds....

Ok today just did a 5 mile ruck at 45 pounds and we did some pt before hand walking lunges, bear crawls, pushups, air squats and step ups was a good day very relaxing.

yup... 12 days of christmas is as mean as it sounds... haha

 

Oh yeah it was bad i did not like it much

 

Ok i know this sounds weird from but i am basically taking 48 hours off from working out because i have a sub arctic GO RUCK challenge in Nashville on Friday high is 31 and lows are in the teens this could suck.

Thanks Laini ok yes i froze my ass off

 

Ok yesterday i did a light workout

 

Bench press

 

185x10

225x7

235x5

245x3

 

Did 50 pullups

 

1 K row

 

7x200 meter sprints with 30 seconds rest

 

Ok and to the second part of the workout i did a full Go Ruck Challange

 

Temp for the entire challange was 18 degrees, 1-5 degrees with windchill, 13 hours and 17 miles covered barely walk now taking 2 days off to recover.

Ok this week has been super light due to my body still not being up there for after the GO ruck event...still feeling some after effects.   

 

Ok this is going to look super sally of a workout but meh

 

10x 225 pound back squats

 

4 rounds

10x left and right side abdominals at 25 pounds and 55 pound kettlebells

10x leg lifts

10x situps

 

yeah not happy will push myself harder tommorrow.

Sorry to completely derail your thread here, but I was just excited to see another Heinlein fan here! Even hard core sci-fi fans often forget the contributions of the great Robert Heinlein. And starship troopers is without a doubt my favourite title of his.

Junior many people miss out on Starship Troopers i love it since it was the foundation of alot of the authors i read now like ringo, krattman, williamson, love all those guys

 

So everyone been gone for a while did murph with body armor in some cold arse weather 18 degree sucked was not fun no time just happy to be done with sore as hell took yesterday off today was a bad week  only 3 times to the gym this week need to get back on it this week.

Starship Troopers book is really good. It is a shame that movie did not reflect that, but it is often so with the movies...

 

 

Okay today i am incorporating sprint training into my routine to slowly build back up to running again.

 

10x100 meter followed by 30 Secs rest

 

sucked like 10 degrees outside muscled locking up the first two finally loose.

 

Good stuff! I do similar sprint training 1x per week.

Thanks rocky for dropping by.  Ok everyone its truth time....i haven't worked out since thursday thats right 4 days off made some life changes in the last 3 months like beginning college and getting a new job at work which is taking up alot of time....So this week I will be getting back on it.

 

Don't think it was a bad thing its good to take a few days off to let the body recover.  Hope everyones weekend is going well.

Ok back on here Morning pt punched me in the face

 

Sprints with body armor for 15 minutes only 10 meters but they kept shortening the rest cycle at one point we got like 1 second between them

 

Then run 900 meters

 

10 Pullups

 

Sprint 50 meters

 

20 Burpees

 

Sprint 50 Meters

 

30 Situps

 

Buddy Carry 50 meters

 

Run 450 meters

 

40 Leaping lunges

 

Sprint 50 Meters

 

50 Back Bellys

 

Sprint 50 meters

 

Hang 1 minute from pull up bar

 

Run 450 Meters....all with body armor on

 

Then tonight i did 

 

225x5 for 5 sets

 

Alternating lunges for 10 with 25 pnd and 30 pnd dumbells for 2 sets each

 

Shoulder press 115 for 10 for 4 sets

 

Lateral raises 10 reps at 15 pnds 

 

Overall good day school work is started goals met for today....cleaning house ie getting rid of a metric ton of stuff.

Today was a good day knocked out Chest and Triceps

 

6x bench press sets starting at 135 ending at 215 pnds 10 reps down to 4 for the last group

 

incline pushups on rings 15 reps for 4 sets

 

Cable flys with resistance bands makes it more interesting

 

Overhead pull overs 10 reps a piece 30 to 40 pnds for 4 sets

 

Ring Dips 10 reps x 4 sets

 

Tricep pull downs 10 reps for 4 sets with resistance bands

 

cable ab pull downs with resistance bands 4 sets

 

3 sets of 15 leg lifts

 

fun day now to work on homework.

Today was a light day only did a short 20 minute workout of 

 

100 power cleans at 135 pnds....finished around 18 minutes....will do more tomorrow

Ok today was a basic day did back and bis

 

Major lift was deadlift...315 pnds for reps was nice

 

2 additional exercises for back 

 

4 different exercises for biceps

 

now time to work on home work....yayayay.

Ok easy PT day 4 mile formation run was not bad actually, may hit something later probably calistetics only down side was we were up at 0430 so I may take a long power nap before I do anything else this weekend.

Ok this weeks been weird due to being on CAS trip

 

Did a workout out were every hour me and my captain would do

 

Pushups

Situps 

Air squats

400 meter run 

Started with 50 and worked our way down to 10 reps of each then back up to 30 again was a good time plus we were in ABUs and boots for the whole thing.

Ok everyone I am offically back missed my fellow fit nerds

 

Started sealfit.com again the reason for that is I am 230 pounds need to get back down to 215 solid......going to fight my way there.
