That's great...keep leveling up. You should be able to reach 40 if not close by the end of the 6 weeks.

 

Thanks, I can't imagine going beyond 25, but before I started I couldn't imagine doing more than 15 pushups.

 

 

 

She's cheating if she's pregnant. She doesn't have to get as low.  :D

 

 

 

I didn't think of it that way.  She is lifting about 20 extra pounds, but you're right; she doesn't have to go as far :)

 

 

 

Told you you had more in you. ;)

Thanks for all the encouragement Teirin, sammyrulez and Kishi.  I am pretty happy with my gains.

 

I must say, I rocked kickboxing tonight.  I didn't sit out a single pushup!  First I did 20 regular pushups.  Then we did some kicks and punches and ended by doing a pyramid.  I did the first 10 pushups of the pyramid regular. Then did sets of 9,8,7,6,5,4, and 3 modified.  I did the last two sets of 2 and 1 regular.  

 

Also, we jumped rope: 5 sets of 2 minutes.  I was one of three people to take an actual rope, thanks to my practice in the garage.

Tough week last week.  I didn't make it to kickboxing because I was really busy, but worse than that I didn't pull out the jump rope.  Really, that takes 10 minutes.  I think it was pitty induced as I plan for my son's bday party and christmas at my house.  I am ready to kick weeks 5 and 6 in the butt!

Went kickboxing yesterday.  There were only 2 of us besides the instructor so we used these ropes that hang from the ceiling.  I think they were called TRX.  Anyway, they were a lot of fun. Really worked my muscles.

 

One more week.  Here we go.

Went to kickboxing last night.  We did our pushups in set of three and I managed them all with good form.  I lost track of how many sets we did.  It seemed like 20, but was probably more like 10.  There was this cute older couple there for their first time.  They weren't big excercisers and had to be taught everything - how to squat, lunge, do a pushup as well as all the punches and kicks, but they were having so much fun.  It was very inspiring.  We kickboxing girls had tons of fun cheering  them on.

Back in the early 90s I was on a rec league softball team. There were several older women who had never participated in sports. They went through high school in the 70s when sports wasn't something that girls were supposed to do. It was so fun watching them get to experience sports for the first time. 

 

Sounds like a fun class! I know your goal is an unbroken set of push ups but 10x3 is still 30 push ups with good form! Nice work!
