Can't wait for the gala premiere, it's going to be amazing! It's not the world premiere as it'll take place a week earlier in NYC but hey, Peter Jackson will be there and, hopefully, Richard Taylor whom I would looooove to meet and work for! I'd totally give up being a nomad for the opportunity to work at Weta!

I sighed tiredly next to a great chestnut. I rested after a good day's run, these last few days were nothing more but travel and training. As soon as I got my Mentor's letter I left the Citadel, closing the gate behind me. Afterwards I traveled as fast as I could towards the Eagle's Gate. Sunday I encountered the same path I ran on so many times in the past, always was I tired before I arrieved at the end of the path. I decided that day to go at it again and run as fast and efficiently as I could. I ran fast, and crossed obstacles with ease, I had no idea what the distance was (i would need to check on that) but at the end I found that I had done the path in about 17min when I did it before in 30min. Happy and flabbergasted at my own progress I quickly moved on to meet up with my Mentor.

Yesterday was my off day, thus I set up camp and went exploring. These woods were less dead looking then those miles back, green pine trees stood everywhere and boulders were covered with moss. It was cold but dry and I traveled deep in the woods. I came to a clearing where I found a small house that stood on poles a little bit off the ground. I approached it cautiously allthough it looked abandonned. I entered the house, it was old and dark, dust covered everything. The floorboards creaked softly as I moved into the living room. Inside I found an altar, on it rested a box and some weapons. I inspected the weapons, I found two butterfly swords and a long pole. Curious i looked inside the box and found a scroll which depicted instructions for an ancient martial art. My curiousity picked I took the scroll with me and the weapons too. I left the house leaving it as I found it, old and abandonned.

Back in my camp I looked the scroll over, inside it was scrolls and scrolls on martial art philosophy and pictures on how to perform the art. Interested I decided to delve into it and find out how to use the scroll and weapons to my advantage...

Today I set out again, finding my way as fast as possible to the Gate. Along the path I read the scroll, fascinated by the martial art and philosophy. I would practice the forms that night after my usual training.

Oooooo... what kind of martial art?

And have you played the new Assassin's Creed yet? I've heard good things, but have not had the chance to get to it yet.

Wing Chun :D always been fascinated by kung fu and now i'm teaching myself the forms because i can't make the lessons Xo

Yes I have, still playing it (at about 20% of the game) and it's awesome :D in my opinion it combines the good things of AC3 and brings back the best elements of the Ezio saga :D naval combat is much better and extremely gripping (whereas i found it a chore in AC3), combat system is stunning and bloody, weapons are diverse. And Edward Kenway is in my opinion a much better character than his grandson XD conclusion, try it out because I love it :D

( i know my updates aren't very frequent but not much happens in my challenge XD)

the sun was rising over the tree tops, a cool fog hung over the fields, my breath crystallized in front of me as I trudged forward. Yesterday I had to forego my training sadly, after a whole day a running and walking through the woods and over the hills my mind had lost the will to push myself through the training. Thus I set up camp and tried to get some rest but was plagued by nightmares.

The day before that though I completed 3 sets of my training including the first form of the martial arts scroll I discovered a while back. Invigorated after my training and cold shower I pushed on over the plain to get to the Eagle's Gate as fast as possible.

The day before that I completed a good 2 sets with the first form after half a day of travel.

As I walked on this day I pondered over my evolution through the last months, I had grown stronger and faster, ever closer to my goal, but I wasn't about to stop now...

(this last week was daunting for me because i am now in Canada for a week with my family and had thus to leave my girlfriend in belgium, the whole week it hung over me and we did things together to make the imminent goodbye less horrible, I still miss her now even though it's not so long...Henceforth my updates have lacked :) but not my training ^^)

I walked through a barren and scarred land. The trees were gone and the forest ground had given way to rubble and scorched landscapes. The Barren Land was the ancient battle ground of an epic battle between Assassins and Templars centuries ago; there was no victory that day, only death. From there on there hung an ominous aura over the lands that creeped inside your head, luring your saddest memories to the surface. Staying too long in these lands was dangerous, but I had to pass through if I wanted to get to the Eagle's Gate. These last few days I traveled through these empty lands, focusing on my steps all the way and completing my training every day without fail. Either completing 2 sets or 3 sets, the difficulty in the exercises were starting to become tangible but I had to push to become who I wanted to be.

After 6 days of travel through the Barren Lands, my mind seemed to cave in to the emotions. Grief welled up and overtook me, leaving my crying and shaking, panic struck as I missed my love next to me. My fears passed in my head and I banished them forcefully to keep on going, to get out of these lands. But now that the aura had gotten inside my head, my travel was going to be hard.

I had already completed my training as soon as I had risen in the morning, completing 2 sets and the first form from the scroll. My training was starting the show...

Forgive me,

My updates these past 2 weeks weren't very often but due to personal problems (nothing too serious just very homesick :)) I tended to forget to update my challenge thread eventhough I completed my training routine XD

As far as my challenges go:

1-complete 20 plyo push-ups -> achieved (+2Str)

2- hold dragon flag 30 sec -> achieved (+1Str; +2Sta)

3- complete 20 get-ups -> achieved (+2Sta)

I completed my cold shower challenge, i don't know if it worked but i feel invigorated ^^

Next challenge i'm coming back in full force (as good as i can during exams XD), just need to refind my motivation and reorganize my training :P

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the Rebellion ^^
