Sunmage
"Winter is coming!" I already had my winter. I did not treat myself well and got pretty sick for about 3 weeks. Long enough to loose some great habits and fall into old bad ones. And I have a TV again. Nice but time consuming...Since I will graduate next year and want to be prepared for the awesomeness of life(And the jump to becoming 30 soon) I cannot continue that. And I want to be prepared for my second 10 day vipassana meditation course starting after christmas, Prepared means be able to meditate 1 hour again and get used to kneeling one hour without pain again. My main goal: Become a warrior of light!Addition: Figure out what that means at the moment. Goal 1: MeditateA calm and free mind feels awesome. And it is so much easier to think, feel and know "Everything will be fine" if your are not worrying about 1000 things every moment. What: VipassanaHow: Kneeling, sitting, lyingHow much: ramp up to 1 hour a dayStations: 20 minutes of Anapana; 30 Minutes meditation kneeling, 35, 40... 5 to 10 Minutes of Metta meditation in the end. Goal 2: Matter mattersA well trained mind still needs a good treated bodyWhat: Workouts, Flexibility workHow: Figure outHow much: 3 Sessions a weekEssentials: "There will be blood" uhm Burpees. And pushups. And Pullups.Goal 3: Get some Energy insideI need more power in many ways. At the moment I feel weak and lazy. I can do better. And Im not sure that energy and food are not totally different Goal 3a: Fuel the body with foodCook 4 meals a weekJust 1 breakfast out1 fast food dish a weekAt the moment I do eat everything. Goal is to reduce gluten again and get some goof breakfasts that neither include bread nor eggs and still last 3 hours.Goal 3b: Fuel the body with energyKunlun, Qigong, KotodamaTry YogaThink positive! Other goals: Try to learn dancing for the third time. Get the university stuff done. I will write this out later. Or procrastinate it Fate whispers to the warrior: "You cannot withstand the storm." faraxk
Ooo, 10 day meditation course sounds pretty interesting. I hear you on the falling back into old habits. It took an injury, a cold, and some visiting friends to knock me staunchly back into old ways. But a new challenge, a new chance right? All great goals you've got and I like the parameters you've set on your eating. Good luck with it all! ~Miranda (aka Farax K) Stars hide your fires for these here are my desires And I won't give them up to you this time around And so I'll be found with my stake stuck in the ground Marking the territory of this newly impassioned soul ~ Mumford and Sons Link to comment

All great goals you've got and I like the parameters you've set on your eating. Good luck with it all! A new challenge is a chance, yes. But there is a pyramid. Some weak seconds make an unsmart decision. Some of that make a bad day. Some of that a horrible week. And external influence isn't considered here yet. Compared to earlier challenges my eating goal is super easy. But from the moment it looks pretty challenging. How did crawling back up to the "before the crash" peak work for you? Are you allergic to eggs or you just don't like them? I was, but I dealt with it. I can eat them in cakes and stuff, but cooked and scrambled isn't good for my gut most times. At the moment I would call it don't like them for breakfast... Fate whispers to the warrior: "You cannot withstand the storm." The warrior whispers back: "I am the storm." Link to comment

Ahyar Dreamspark
Meditation and kneeling for one hour? /spitscoffee Jeeezas! I have a hard time with 5 minutes lol. You, good sir*, are an inspiration. With the meditation, I mean. Not the university procrastination. I've got plenty of levels in procrastination already. * I apologize if I got your gender wrong. Sunmage
If you use a pillow or a bench designed for that it is ok. I have to work myself up there, too. I was making good progress with meditation until I strained my ankle. Aktually I didn't step wrong or do sports and had no accident. Just the Injury...I did no Sports yet, but cooking went quite well. Life is so much easier when you are calm and believe that everything will be fine! Sunmage
Hey, I'm alive! And I was pretty sick again. My main priority is to figure some things(health) out for me and find a new place. I do meditate and I do work on my goals. And I practiced QI again.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9-qhGVFBcAThis guy is awesome. And I can do some of those effects now. This leads to a conflict because with working towards QI I do not need to run after 6 week goals.I will see what happens. Fate whispers to the warrior: "You cannot withstand the storm."
