Main Goal: Lose 5 pounds.

It's been a weekend. I'm not weighing myself right now. I will weigh mid-week.
 

Goal 1: Get back to meal planning and clean eating.

In three days, I haven’t been eating well... again. I have had three clean meals over this period. That is 3 points for two days.
 

1 point per planned meal. -1 point for quick options like eating out or vending machine snacks. (126 max points)
 

Goal 2: Run. Train. Lift. Do.

Never got to the gym. I did Wii Fit and yoga, though... but I didn't go to the gym. That's -2 points this week.
 

1 point per gym visit. 1 extra point for extra visits. -1 point for each day of the required 3 missed per week. (18 max points, plus extra credit)
 

Life Quest: Get that damned credit card under control and start moving on.
Used. Once. -1 points. PAID once. +1 point.
 

1 point per payment. -1 point per use of card. (12 max points)
 

Side Quest: Meditate. Journal.

YES. Finally. At yoga I got some serious meditation in! That's +1 point.

Goal 3: Track in My Fitness Pal every day.
I tracked on paper, but have yet to enter things in. I'll go do that now. But +3 points.

He was partially blocked again. Brought him in and he got so scared he peed on me three times... So bye bye blockage. More pain meds and other bladder spasm meds. Ugh. I just want his little guy to feel better. It is really making my heart hurt.

I did well until the traditional Monday night tacos. Staying home meant I had to make my own meals, which helped me out. That is 2 points for Monday.

This week will be hard. It's Thanksgiving, and I'll be working around Thanksgiving hours at the gym and a sick cat that needs vet attention at the drop of a hat. I may let myself count other activities because of this week. Like raking our yard. Damn 8 oak trees. Nothing so fat this week, but plans for yoga or raking (sun allowing) tonight.

I haven't used it. I haven't paid. But I am going to have to use it this week. We need plane tickets for our vacation, and hubby has been using his enough for kitty bills. With the vacation less than a month and a half away, I'm just going to have to suck it up and use it and promise to use any (if we get one this year) bonus at year end to repay that.

Just keep plugging away and you'll reach your goals. This is one of those weeks that is going to be hard for everyone to keep on track - but remember: you are the one in charge. Not a holiday - nothing terrible is going to happen to you or those you love if you keep your progress moving during the holiday instead of using it as an excuse to continue the status quo.

More cat. More vet. More pain. No real reason. Poor buddy just isn't getting much better. We had him checked before the long weekend and they said his bladder was empty. Doesn't mean he isn't hurting from passing crystals... Still watch dogging him... *sigh* we locked him in our room last night so we could tell if he peed and he curled up between my legs all night. We love that little guy.

On the food front, I thought yesterday was bad, but after tracking it all, it wasn't terrible. Today is starting off well. Protein and vitamins for breakfast, we will have a light lunch and then out Thanksgiving meal is actually not too terrible... Unless you count the three cheese Mac n cheese I am making... :D

I plan to kick my own ass for slacking these last two weeks with this week's work outs. Gym EVERY day. I also have Just Dance 2014 now... and I am stoked to sweat my buns off to it at home.

It's way harder now with the xbox kinect! I feel like you actually dance more. It's fun, but challenging. I have it for the wii, too. That's less fun, but still a good dance!

 

Also, can we all take a moment and discuss just how uncomfortable it is to ask your boss for a raise? Ughhhhh my insides hurt from all the anxiety.
