In my last challenge I wanted to lose some weight, inches, and visit the gym 3 days a week. While I was pretty successful with these goals(Here)...I wanted to turn it up a little bit for this challenge and make it more about being physical..cause that's what it's all about...right Olivia? So....My goal is to push myself like I have not pushed myself these last couple of months. Main questMy ultimate goal is to be as healthy a person as I can possibly be, I want to be healthy in both my mind and my body. I am currently attending Univeristy of Phoenix and am 5 classes away from receiving my bachelors degree in Information Technology with a focus on Software engineering. On 2/2/13 I decided to start my weight loss journey. I was 314lbs when they weighed me that day and I have been sliding ever since. My main goal is to reach 235lbs by January 11th, 2014. The reason for this specific goal is that is what my drivers license says, for the last 12 years when someone asks me if anyone has changed on my drivers license I said no, so through all these years my weight said 235 while I ballooned up. This is my goal for starters. The goals1. Move this damn scale where I want to go!! I will be at 235 by December 12th. This is because my gym wants to do a profile on me and I want to reach my goal before then. +2 ChaGradingPass/Fail 2. Complete this C25K training program. I am on Week 5 Day 3. This will be my toughest challenge I have 4 weeks to go and 6 weeks to do it. I will do what Jenny says +2 StaGradingA. CompleteB. Week 9C. Week 8 Day 3D. Week 8 Day 1,2F. <Week 8 3. 3 reps of 60 second planks this will help me make my core stronger...allowing me to... +2 StaGradingA: CompleteC: 2 60 second planksF: 1 60 second plank 4. Complete 3 reps of 15 pushups with the Half Medicine Ball..These things are pretty gangsta....So I want to be gansta too! +3 CONA. CompleteC. 2 RepsF. 1 Rep 5. Read 1 chapter a week in the head first Design Patterns Book +2 Int +3 WisA. 6 ChaptersB. 5 ChaptersC. 3 ChaptersD. 2 ChaptersF. 0 Chapters Bonus questsFind, register, and complete a 5k by the end of the year in under 40 minutes. + 3 StaAttend the gym 3 days a week +2 Str Side questHave Father-Daughter time every Monday. This will entail getting my school work done on Sundays to ensure I have enough time to spend the entire evening with her on Monday. +2 ChaKeep track of my food intake every day in MFP +2 CON My motivationTRIM THE FAT Lastly, I want to give a huge shout out to all the people who helped/coaxed/berated me in my last challenge to keep going. I had a great workout today and even got a first go at my medicine ball pushups not bad... Workout Today was...3x15 with each leg first x20lb Kettle ball step ups paired with 3x10 incline pullups3x15x90 Wide Grip Pulldowns paired with 2x15x140 & 1x10x140 Incline Chest Press3x15x110 Seated Rows paired with 1x15x50 and 2x15x40 Tricep Pulldowns(The machine holds weight really heavy...other machines I'm 90-110...it's weird)2x15x90,1x15x80 Shoulder Press paired with Ab-x Crunches3x15x90 Leg Extensions3x15x100 Hamstring Extensions3x15x460 Leg Press Then I decided to try the medicine ball pushups...1x151x101x6 this is something I can definitely see my workout improving on...my form and everything. My form was kind of bad for these this time my stomach touched the ball a few times before my chest got relatively close so I know my from can be better...so that's something to work on.. Then I took about an hour break..then tried my 2 mile jog again...after being sick for a week I am REALLY winded..I am still not 100% in my chest and I can tell..2 Miles 13.01 pace...I'm not sure what to do about this straight 2 mile jog..keep going on it or try to move on to week 6 and do the interval with greater distances...It's not easy...and I can't seem to keep my breathing where it needed to be even when I was healthy... I didn't know they were called that but yes...that's them! I didn't do too bad at them when I started on them yesterday. Phatkid Posted November 12, 2013 Author Report Share Posted November 12, 2013 Well...Yesterday was kind of successful? I did take the daughter our to dinner..just me and her. We had a good time. Came home and gave her a bath then had to do some stupid school work. I didn't get to the gym or to do Cardio..which really sucks. I wanted to but by the time I got done with school it was like 9;30...so I played some batman Arkham Origins...that game is pretty epic and I'm only about an hour into it.. I'm really ready to get into the gym though...I'm still sore from Sunday's workout so it's probably healthy I didn't go but still..I want it!! LoL.... Yeah we need our time..because I work so much I have to make it a point to get her out on some one-on-one time. @Jess I usually do workout regardless if I'm sore or not....I actually do my cardio regardless of being sore because of the reason you mentioned...
