In need of AC nerds for project advice

Hello fellow Rebels,

 

I've been working on a project for myself for a while now and i'm nearing completion. But then I thought, maybe other Assassin's Creed nerds would like something like this. Maybe not, nevertheless I'd like your opinion

 

I've been working on a book (more of a booklet) which holds the Creed of Assassin's Creed and the Charter, Bylaws and functional guide-lines for a modern Assassin Order in Northern-Europe. It is thus a political/legal document encompassing the principles of the AC Brotherhood. Next to that the guide-lines include a Code of Conduct for life inside the Brotherhood, Ranking, Hiearchy and Assassin Training.

 

My question would be, what would you fellow rebels, like to see in that kind of book?

oh the legal part isn't so much rooted to the European legal systems, it's more that I don't know the american system (i do write that the world's Head Assassin Bureau in the US is, to keep in tone with the game ). it's all adaptable and it would only be the Bylaws that could be changed if necessary ^^

I know it's not real of course ^^ it's a novelty fan-made item, based into the world created by Ubisoft i'm just wondering if i might have missed anything

Maybe a mention of the past legends of the Brotherhood? Also a part about the templars and why they're the arch nemesis of the Assassins?

it's from Terry Pratchett's Disc World series, cliff notes verison is that it's a school/governing body for Assassins

a good idea, i mention briefly that their have only been a select few mentors and I wrote in the Charter that one of the reasons for the creation of the Brotherhood is to counter the activities of the Templar Order. Maybe I could write a bit more extensively. But I want to watch out, i've got ideas myself of what I could still put in it but I want to make it into a strict legal document that explains de internal functionning of the Order i wasn' thinking of putting an extensive training guide in it (or assassination techniques of the Brotherhood).

interessting, know the author but never read him i'll have to check it out so can you give me any insight on this project, anything I might have missed?

 

Should've probably reminded that everything in the book is information based on the games and the Assassin's Creed Wiki ^^

haha thanks, its a purey fan made item and i thought it would be fun to have NF pushed me back into parkour too and to become more Ezio he's a good rolemodel to have ^^

 

if you want i'll PM the index of what i've already got inside the book

the idea would be to have a book where the philosohical principles, the legal organization and functioning of the Order is written in kinda like a book every Brotherhood Member should have or have read ^^

the 'little red book' of the Brotherhood if you will ^^

This does sound like a very cool idea. I joined NF looking for Parkour help like you guys too and let me say your little book sounds freaking awesome. maybe you could tell the stories of the past branches of the brotherhood ( like in the games )Tis just a thought but i do love your idea.
