Broke my primal rule again - but free food! Ugh.3pm - meditation and nap time. Vagued in and out of consciousness for around 20 minutes. Took dog for a walk - around 1.5kms.Did laundry, got bins emptied, started reading "Music Theory for Dummies."Had "Clean oven" on my cleaning list, it won't get done today.Dinner: Honey soy chicken & vegetable stir fry. Stonie Posted June 11, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 11, 2014 11062014 Body woke up by itself at 5:50am.Not sure whether impressed or annoyed. Breakfast: Apple, banana, two hard boiled eggs. Work at 7:15am - had early breakfast booking. Second breakfast - courtesy of chef - of bacon, scrambled eggs, toast. Feeling quite dehydrated despite drinking lots of water - not happy. Lunch: Mushroom & Tomato frittata and salad. 3:00pm - Went to pub to catch up with a friend, drank tea and yawned for an hour. Dinner: Chicken and Leek pie. Wandered around wiping weird marks off all the walls as per cleaning schedule. Non-primal diet day. Again. Didn't yoga. Didn't meditate. Didn't create anything. Halfway there until I get a day off. Stonie Posted June 12, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 12, 2014 Thanks At the moment what's tripping me up is mostly "Oh, free food, I won't have a chance to eat this later." *scoff* And also "oh well, I've stuffed my primal goal up for the day, might as well eat this." Having said that though, the sudden change from sleeping in and being sedentary to getting up early and standing all day is throwing me out of whack. I stepped on the scale the other day and was down 2kgs - considering I've not changed my diet a whole lot yet I would hesitate a guess that it's because I've started moving so much, and so I've been trying to just eat enough! Ate an apple and a banana. 3 sun salutations.Crocheted a few stitches of the dress I'm working on. Work at 7:30am.It was busy today.11:30 - Breakfast: 2 bits of bacon, an egg and toast.Had a craving for muffins. Baked almond meal & choc chip muffins.Late lunch: Muffin. Dinner: Steak and baked potatoes and fresh bread.Was supposed to dust the house. It won't get done tonight. Just a few more days until Sunday. I may try getting some catch-up cleaning done. So many people would go out and buy a multipack of muffins at the corner shop and eat the lot, but you put in the effort to make your own and eat one. This is such a strong thing to do, in my opinion. Well done. Do you find, when you are cooking, that the smell of the cooking goes a long way to satisfying your hunger? I'm a bit of the opinion of "If I can do it myself I shouldn't have to pay someone to do it." Loving it, when I can get the motivation to do it. It's nice to do some when I get up in the morning, before going to work, but yesterday and today I seem to have come down with a vicious cold, so my motivation is -100. I want to go back and do some more classes, but I'm just not sure when I'm going to fit them in at the moment! Yoda can usually be found on Dagobah. I can't afford the flight costs at the moment. xD He'll have to come here. Woke up at 6am with a sore throat. The kind that feels like your throat is being cut every time you swallow. Worked at 7:30am - 2:30pm. Breakfast: bacon eggs and toast. Free pecan pie. A little meditation and attempted nap when I got home - rolled around in bed for an hour before my phone rang. Did washing. Lunch: Leftover chicken pie. My head started thumping every time I moved, couched. Dinner: Sausage rolls. Hopefully I can get through work tomorrow so I can recover over Sunday and Monday - managed to get Monday off so I'll only have to work 5 days next week. Also my back and neck have been quite sore since getting back from holidays - and my back doesn't normally ache after a days work. Thinking I might have to go to the chiropractor to get everything put back where it's supposed to. Nap time. Dinner: Baked fish and mashed potato. 150620146WC Day 7Didn't sleep well due to sore throat / headache combo. Slept in until 9am at least. Moped around house for an hour. Called my Mum. She suggested the hospital.Have infected tonsils - hence trouble swallowing and swollen glands and headache. Have antibiotics and painkillers. Feeling almost human again.Lunch: Hungry Jacks. Shh. Nap time for 90 minutes. Couching.Dinner: Pasta Carbonara. Went over calories. I'm just glad I'm starting to feel better. I woke up wanting to decapitate myself this morning just to make myself feel better. Tomorrow is the start of week 2. O.oFeeling much better now I have working painkillers and antibiotics. Up at around 9am. Breakfast: Almond meal muffin and a banana.Spent most of the day Unfucking my habitat.Only thing I didn't do was sweep the floor, haha. But the place is lookin' good. Made the bed, did all the clothes washing, all the dishes, cleaned all the benches, put stuff away, folded all my Love's shirts so they actually fit in the drawers. Lunch: Leftover Carbonara.Food planning and shopping.Filling the trolley full of fruits and vegetables and meat always makes me feel good. Dinner: My Love took me out for dinner. Had squid and chips and salad and a hot chocolate. D: 18062014 Up at 6am. Breakfast: Greek yoghurt and banana with honey, and green tea. Crocheted some of the dress I'm working on. Worked from 7:30am - 4pm.Second breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast, and an espresso. Lunch: Mouthful of sweet potato soup, mouthful of apple pie, a scone with jam and cream.Home; attempted to clean the toilet. It is somewhat cleaner.Did the clothes washing shuffle; took less wet things off outside line, put them in the dryer. Put another load of washing on. Folded and/or put clothes away. Got pissy at the linen cupboard when I tried to put things away and ended up pulling it all out and folding it and putting some of it back. The rest went into rags or is going to the op shop.One day I'll have folded all the things and I can die happy. Dinner: Chicken burgers. Breakfast: Bacon, egg, homemade bread sandwich.Crocheted for a little while.Worked from 7:30 - 2:30.Second Breakfast: A pancake and a piece of bacon, short mac coffee.Op shopping.Found a jumper to make into a dog bed for the dog, and a pair of track pants with elastic feet-holes for storing my stash of plastic shopping bags in the linen cupboard. Home, Soaked the bathroom sink.Snack: Chicken burger patty. Oh, they ended up having cabbage and carrot and onion and egg in them too because I had vegetables to use up. Baked Apple Cinnamon cookies. Had apples that were going soft in the fruit bowl. Lots of reusing going on today.Cleaned down the bathroom sink. Scrubbed down the kitchen sink pre-emptively last night after dishes. Went to parent's for dinner. Dinner: Spaghetti Bolognese.Finished dog bed for dog. Photo below. Dessert: Apple cookie and ice cream.Blogged about said dog bed.
