Kobnach
Silly question. But how so I subscribe to your individual challenge threads? I'm pretty active on fb too so if someone wants to start afb group I'd be into that. If you go to the challenge thread, there's a red button in the upper right labelled "follow this topic". For some of us, finding our challenge thread is as easy as clicking on a link in our signature. For others, (1) click on their nameThat takes you to their profile page. Then (2) click on the red button on their profile page labelled "find content" - it's in the upper right. That gets you a list of threads. For most of us, it's probably short, since we're fairly new. (3) Look through it for something that looks like their challenge thread. Beaucastle
I think (my opinion only) we should also post here from time to time and check in with us a group. then if one or more of us are struggling we post here.. let everyone know, and the others can all send encouragement via message text carrier pidgeon whatever works best for them I am in Central Time Zone Panhandle of Florida Fort Walton Beach to be specific. I work full time, I'm taking a Master's class, I am on the Executive Board for a local civic group, I run 3 days a week, and am trying to do yoga 4 times but only count twice on my challenge, I'm a mom and grandmom, I'm overcoming serious health issues and a plethorea of old and new injuries. I wonder if anyone would be interested in creating a challenge story line. like an rpg game only on forums... we write our entrys to be fit an evolving story line. (this might not be anything anyone is interested in but thought for the sake of making sure I would just ask) Link to comment

Ambee
My time zone is GMT! Possibly then it might be easiest to keep in contact with each other via the forums, then? At least everyone can check in here in their own time. My first day - it went decently, but I know I can do better! My 'walk the dog for half an hour when I get in from work' aim was scuppered thanks to a storm blowing in; I still took her out, but only for 15 minutes as the river was starting to swell up onto the pathway we normally take. I'm going to start doing the Beginner Bodyweight Workout twice a week to introduce strength training into my routine too, to give myself more of a challenge. How did everybody else find things? Rossimelons
I think I've managed to follow everyone's logs and will start having a read now. My first few days have been rather non-eventful. I haven't done much but my husband has been off work and I find it hard to get motivated when he's about. I'm in Australia so I think I am on this wrong timezone for chats and such but I'm happy to post here and keep in touch that way. Each day is a new day. Sariarisai
I've been doing well so far, the paleo has been quite hard but I've been managing. The exercise is also going well, I felt sick after I stopped on day 1 but since then I've been fine. I'm in New Zealand which is GMT+12 at the moment (changes in daylight saving to GMT +13) so don't worry about trying to fit in with me as far as time zones go. I'm not sure what time everyone will see this as being posted but here it's 8:48pm and the time at which I use the internet each day changes Link to comment

Beaucastle
I totally failed this first week. Chaos settled in on Monday and for the next 3 days my world is at the mercy of my own bad scheduling and over booking. I forgot this weekend was General Membership Board Meeting. I am on the board and its going to suck up every spare minute and over ride my workout schedule. fortunately its only an annual thing and next year my responsiblities for it will be greatly diminished as I am stepping down from my current board seat. but for this weekend.. I'm swamped. *sad tired face* Link to comment

Kobnach
It's been a quiet morning for updates to people's threads, so I thought I'd check in and ask how people are doing. I'm having my usual weekend effects - fewer veggies, later hours, and more sleep. Still on track for a decent week, in spite of my back, which is now pretty close to recovered. Monday morning I'll put a summary of my week into the weekly summary area of my challenge thread Level 6 Dark Elf RangerSTR 5 | DEX 3 | STA 16 | CON 10 | WIS 13 | CHA 6Current Challenge Battle Log Past: 5 4 3 2 1 0.1 Link to comment
Ambee
I've definitely been a bit more lazy over the weekend than I am during the week, particularly with sleeping in. But I think you do need to have some proper battery recharging time, don't you? This week's gone decently for me but I know I can do better so I'm going to step it up this week and introduce activity at a more intense level. MudPhuddled
I survived my first week. The soreness after body weight workouts is definitely getting better, which is huge motivation to continue next week. I hope everyone else is doing well. I haven't had a chance to read your individual threads. This week was crazy, so updating and reading here fell by the wayside (though I managed to get in all my workouts). Anyways, thanks for keeping me accountable, everyone. Good luck! WndrGrl
Hi everyone! I haven't been online much as the new semester started. I hope you are all going strong. If not, remember this moment is the perfect time to dig in. Yesterday doesn't matter. I have stuck with my goals. I enjoyed my walks a couple days and took extra long ones. Then there have been a couple days when I almost skipped my walk, but in the end, I've gone out despite the cold and rain. Once I get the walk done, drinking water and eating veggies seems awful easy.
