Whoooo! Good goals. I think the best thing in the world for you, right now, is that Asshat and BoCM are gone (even if it hurts - that'll fade).

Ok. Official Day 1 wrap up. 

 

Goal 1: Get back to the box.

Skill: 

1min AMRAP double unders

got 37. LULZ. I need to get back into doing these. My rope feels really heavy. I have a little bit of a lighter cable, but I need to work on using this one for now, even though the whip marks KILL.

 

Strength:

15 min to build to a 1RM Front Squat

(all weight in lbs) 

45x5

95x5

115x2

135x1 - started belting here

155x1

170x1 (PR!)

175xfail -- i attempted this like.. 90 seconds after the 170.

 

I'm happy with this. Felt solid. Had a little bit of a stick on the PR, but, eh. Go me.

 

WOD/Conditioning

4 Rounds for time of: 500m Row 15 Squat Clean Thrusters 105/70

Rest between rounds the time it took you to complete 500m row.

This BLEW.

DNF. BADLY DNF.

Like, I literally gave up. Me and my partner started with 65lbs on the bar. First round, I used 65. Second/part of third we used 55lbs. I wouldn't even count this. I mean, I did the row 3 times. I did some squat clean thrusters, but... not... well. I lost count. I gave up. and then after three thrusters in the 3rd round I had to run outside because I almost puked. This has NEVER happened to me before. Ever. Never felt like I was going to puke. Yikes. Then I have to remember I've only done one other WOD since October 10th... 

 

 

Goal 2: Skillz bro.

I second what WQ says about saying it. And being mindful of negative thoughts when they come in your mind. I'd never be as mean to anyone else as I can be to myself. So, even if there's something I see that I don't love, I remind myself:

OH yeah. That post made me cry. Like a baby.  It's not hard to give me feels but that was like being run over the by the GD feels bus.
