Another WTP day, and I'm sneaking up on those 5 x 8 negatives: - warm up- 3 x 8 + 2 x 7 negative chin-ups- 2 x 2 side planks 30 sec- W&W mobility Also: 4 Half Get Ups on each side, so far. I'll venture into the Big City soon, for my PT appointment. Unfortunately, it turns out not to be just a mechanical block of some sort (as I had hoped), the knee joint works beautifully except for that friction and cracking.The PT thinks the cartilage might be damaged, which means I get to see Doctor Moviestar next week (honestly, the man looks more the poster boy for plastic surgeons than an orthopedic specialist). Not looking forward to the appointment. Until I know what's going on with the buggy knee, I've decided to adjust my workouts to put as little strain on that kneecap as possible while still doing something useful. So I've replaced the potentially knee-unfriendly parts from the warm up (rocking, crawling) with half TGUs (two birds, one stone, eh?), and I'll stick to two-legged squats instead of the one-legged variety for the time being. Today's workout ended up like this:- warm up (cross-crawls, rolling, 6 half Get Ups on each side)- 3 x 7 inverted rows (1 sec pause)- 3 x 14 two-legged squats slightly below parallel- 3 x 7 incline push-ups (hands slightly lower than knee height)- 3 x 7 one-legged Romanian Deadlifts, phone book held overhead, 2 sec pauses Have a fantastic Friday, everyone! 1 Hobbit Challenges: 14 | 13 | 12 | 11 | 10 | 9 | 8 | 7 | 6 | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1My shiny new "battle" log - probably more of a plodding-along log, but hey, it's mine!
