I was doing stuff in leg warmers. I AM going the distance 'Cause all I wanna do is go the distance. Nobody's ever gone the distance with Creed, and if I can go that distance, you see, and that bell rings and I'm still standin', I'm gonna know for the first time in my life, see, that I weren't just another bum from the neighborhood. cline Posted January 7, 2014 Author Report Share Posted January 7, 2014 Last night's training OHP for volume and repping heavy - so heavy sets repped and total of volume. OHP why you vex me? Honestly, though, they went well. Shit ton of assistance work. I dropped the weight on most things b/c my elbow and coach wrote the program so I had to: everything was 5x15. D'oh! some stuff hurt most didn't. Elbow is a bit hurt-y today. I have already heated it during the breakfasting and now I've slapped on a bunch of tiger balm (oh the office smells GOOD!) and I've slapped a leg warmer on top. That's how winning is done! (ok probably not) I took the bus home 3/4 of the way last night b/c turns out spousal unit is not, in fact, a meterologist. He said "it'll be in the 50's when you leave work" so I dressed for that. Yeah.... so cold last night and no mittens, no hat. Grrrrrr.... So I stood there like an idiot and waited for the warm bus. I only walked 1/2 mi yesterday. But it was a brisk walk! (get it? LOL) Got home and banged up foot is so many pretty colors and boy was it swollen. Ice, ice baby. I did quite a number on that foot. Breakfast was some chicken thighs and spinach with some tomatoes and coffee. nice. I love when spousal unit is gone. Also, week 1 made my promises. I'm deailng with the rest of that today. And the best part is 1 promise already kept & done! :-) I finished my course work for the week last night which is cool b/c the class started yesterday. I'm still fence sitting about rucking. Honestly, it feels a little bandwagon-y any more and I'm old and stuff. Mmmmm tiger balm makes me so happy! I love the smell. I love the heat. I got some arm warmers and they go on but are super tight. My forearms aren't even that large. Leg warmers would be nice and baggy. Stylin' though! I lift heavy things. Leg warmers would be nice and baggy. Stylin' though! No these aren't those silly things bike riders wear (which I never understood). These are old fashioned dancing leg warmers. I used to use them all the time when I danced. Mine all had holes which was great bc then you could tuck them under your heels. They do work pretty well. I'm excited to try my actual sleeves though. On the elbow front, I can now dress myself without excrutiating pain which is huge compared to a week ago. I AM going the distance 'Cause all I wanna do is go the distance. He once got Fiery Jack (like Tiger Balm but without the smell) and Preparation H mixed up in the medicine cabinet. True story. tendonitis sucks .. Current thinking is just keep stretching it and wait till it stops hurting and not put too much strain on the elbows. I'm not quite in your condition but even just straightening the arm out sucks at present. Any tips?
