Is 120-180g carb considered high carb????? ACK!  I do not want a high carb diet.  Shit.  I thought that was more like low end of normal.  UGH.  I'm soooo getting fatter.  I do not have room to spare in the fat dept.

He's unclear about fat.  Another thing we argued about.  I took fat out except for meat and eggs about 2 weeks ago.  I figured when he said "lean protein only" that meant no fat.  Him:  I never said that.  *sigh*  So, I'm leaving it out for now.

I don't see how I'm going to lose weight this way.  Ain't no thin people out there eating this much damned food.

I almost always have to carry a separate bag for my food now.  Seriously.  That's mortifying.

180g is high carb for paleo/primal types.  For the typical UK breakfast it's like 1/3 a muffin.

Here's my macros for the end of last year (2lbs lost in six weeks which is essentially noise or toilet timing)..  That was at ~12% BF and 200lbs weight.  By the time you get a protein shake with full fat milk, a tub of coconut yogurt and a cheese omelette in there, there's not that much left on an exercise day.  I had sweet potatoes 2/3 times a week though.

my scale insists i'm 28% bf.  Even after losing about 50# it says same bf.

Calipers.  7 readings, 3 sets.  Unless you're losing at exactly the same time as not exercising at all, I very much doubt it.

Even a cheap pair of calipers tends to agree with the readings I have taken down the gym by these guys (seriously, check out the staff this place has, it's insane) http://trainingshed.com/market-harborough/about-the-training-shed/our-team/

I disagree, I eat tons of food :3 I still only weigh 135ish though. I've always amazed people at how much I can, and do often, eat. And you really do some pretty incredible things in training as far as I can tell. And now I'm starving so I'm gonna go eat 3 chicken breasts, 6 eggs, bowl of mashed potatoes and a pot of brown gravy. Erm, I'd love to explain his reasoning but I really don't know enough (anything) about diet control. I honestly believe as hard as you work out though, the only extra weight you could gain would be muscle.

Also, foot in mouth, I realize my brown gravy mix is mushroom gravy. So I have failed. 6egg turkey, mushroom and swiss omelet and chicken and mushroom gravy :D I almost didn't update, but I got to feeling guilty about it. Still my point remains, most people would call that a family meal right?

Sorry sorry sorry! I meant in terms of paleo. It's still lowish-carb compared to an average american diet. :)

Oh. Thank God

I'll put the AED back now.

Pardon typos, I'm eating jerky.

Still dealing with coach stuff and my days of 1000 meals.  Sigh.

But training never stops!  Whoo hoo!

Yesterday's training:

bench work up to 85% then did 5x5 at 85% BAM!  Yup, repped every damn one.  Some were seriously grindy but I did it.

ton of assistance work which was enjoyable

and per coach's orders, bike cardio 30 mins but only got 11.6 mi bc my legs were tired from training day before and I was distracted fiddling with music the first 5 mins.  heh.

Walked home 2mi in post bombogenesis.

Ate my 10000000 meals.

And today - 1 bag.  Brilliant solution.  I have my Muay Thai gear which is HUGE - boxing gloves and shin guards.  So I have a really big bag I use.  Then I shoved my 1000 meals in it, my gym clothes, etc.  People on the bus have all the hate for my gigantic bag.  But, I have one bag again.  For today at least.  LOL.

No!  I don't follow wrestling at all and know pretty much nothing about it.

That's an awesome story!!  I love the part about the table.  Oh so cool!  Thanks for sharing!!!

You're welcome! I don't follow wrestling either; it popped up on my FB page. But I thought you'd like the bit about the table. :D

All the Muay Thai!!!

Working pads for head movement and moving but staying in the pocket. Coach talked about differences there btn Muay Thai, boxing, and MMA. And then

We had to do 3x5 mins rounds GAH!!

And then

I got paired with one of the most advanced students in class! He worked me so hard

And then

He had to tighten the pads bc I was hitting so hard! Yes. And we worked our asses off bc we basically pad sparred. Nice.

All the meals were eaten. All the bags packed... All the meals and brotein packed.

Met one of the phillies in the airport.

Damn life is absolutely amazing every day. (And it's time to talk spring training!)

I haven't been very active on the board lately because I have been swamped.

But, I have been following along and need to share with you something that a wise woman once said.

I have a good program and I always do what coach says. Always

I know you are struggling with what he is telling you.  But, there is a reason you go to him.  You trust him because he knows what he is doing, and he gets results.  Trust him.  Do what he says.  Chin up, cline!

Seriously! You still listen to those? Its literally the worst way to check. So inconsistent from each reading. Cheap calipers while a bit low usually are at least consistent between each measurement.

You need carbs plain and simple. I love paleontology but for really getting lower you need to eat.

I'm glad coach is happy. I'm hoping you are too!!

We have reached a detente. He is moody and old school and my knowledge pushed him in a way he wasn't happy about. In the end, I'm still a client, he still writes programs, etc. I LOVE the programs, so....

And I've stuck to the diet and it's working. And I even packed my own meals for the plane and I have them packed for tomorrow. AND I kept to diet during nerd dinner.

And i did 45 mins of cardio tonight.

And FYI Steve Kamb was here. Lol.

House party!

But not really. No drunk texting from this nerd. I've been doing some coursework and now I'm going to sleep. With eye shades...
