Since I inadvertently posted in the old thread, I'll copypaste here.

Hi guys. I'm new to the group for this challenge. I kinda disappeared from Nerd Fitness for a while, but now I'm back for the long haul. I don't recognize most of your names, but I'm pretty sure I was in a group with Tateman for the first challenge I did.

So I took long hard look at how my last challenge went (I actually finished but never posted my final stuff. Maybe I'll do that sometime today, not sure if I can give myself the Ability points and level though). I had gotten a bit sick, and also depressed and focused heavily on the fact that outside of the challenges I fail, which made me fail a lot within the challenge (not completely though!). I came to the decision that would forgo doing the current challenge so I can focus on improving myself when I only have myself to be accountable to.

Today I changed my mind, and I'm totally back in for the challenge. You can find my new challenge thread here.

Ha, I forgot to follow this topic and here I thought people were ignoring it. Glad to see I didn't kill all conversation like I thought! 80D

Doing great so far... Hitting the exercise goals pretty solidly and have gotten started on the taxes (gotten most of the documents together and organized - a few left to gather up from the shop)... next step start logging everything in the ledger. The horror. :-P

Week 1 proved a bit off for me. Coming into the challenge later than usual, fighting to get back into routines and eat normally. I'm expecting a rough challenge ahead, but that's good if I fight to get into the routine hopefully it'll play out into making sticking with it easier going forward.

Week 1 was mostly good for me. I messed up a couple times with eating, but I'm trying hard not to dwell on it and just focus on week 2. Changing my eating habits is definitely going to be what I struggle with the most.

My first week was overall ok. I got into Hulk-Mode, learned pretty much about myself and did my workouts. I had a few times where I didn't stick to my food-plan and doing the meal plan I got out of the Rebel Strength Guide isn't that easy cause I am travelling at least twice a week (between my small apartment and the main one I got with my fiancée), but I try to at least don't eat things that aren't paleo and that aren't on the meal plan. I.E. yesterday I had beerbattered fried fish which wasn't paleo of course but it has been one of my favourites before I started paleo and I hadn't had that in quite a long time - apart from that I stayed paleo.

And @all regarding losing weight: I knew a guy once who started losing weight by weighing himself once a month and telling himself he wouldn't be fussed about how much weight he would loose but he had to weigh in with fewer weight than the month before. Perhaps everyone should be pleased with loosing even a little weight, it's a step towards the right direction.
