~ A great "chipper" workout that took me about 28 minutes. It was tough! I've got string my pull-ups together.

~ Looking to go on a run tomorrow (although I'll be without my running partner Cheechoe) and probably get some comic book reading done!

60 pull-ups? Wow.

Back in the day, I used to be a damn monkey, and could easily do 20+ sets. But doing 60 in a short period of time is a crap ton!

  

Thanks, Razor! I did "kipping" pull ups which made it (somewhat) easier to do.

That chipper looks disgusting.

~ Great workout. Had me breathing hard and all. I'm not sure what my "score" was, but I definitely got a ton of reps done!

~ Went for a 2.5 mile run at the local park. Felt great and actually ran into an old friend at the park.

~ Didn't get any comic book reading done, but I did watch a lot of Dr. Who!

~ Took me about 15 minutes to get this done. It was exhausting! The RX weight for men was 45 lbs, and I knew I wasn't capable of doing that kind of weight (yet!).

~ My time was 15:42. This was a tough one and a great workout to cap off my six straight days of CF workouts. Can't wait 'till next week to do it again!

Eating late

~ I haven't had much issues with refraining from eating after 9pm lately. I've noticed that it's easier for me to get my meals in before 9pm on my work days. However, it's a whole other story when I'm off from work. I find that I'm prone to eat more on my days off probably due to the accessibility of food and lack of activity that I would normally have when I'm working. I need to be mindful on that and make sure not to eat late.

Maximum Effort Shoulder Press (Men: 115 lbs / Women: 85 lbs)

20 Pull-Ups

~ This was an interesting workout as it wasn't "for time". We simply had to do as many Shoulder Press movements until we reach failure then 20 pull ups.

Funny story about this workout, I figured I did at least 47 shoulder presses but it wasn't until I left the gym and was at work that I realized I must've did 37 reps! I wonder if the people at the later classes saw my score on the board and tried to beat it!

The Conclusion!

A quick recap...

Side Quests

Attend CrossFit classes 5x times per week (6x on occasion)

~ I succeeded at this goal by going to CrossFit classes five times per week. It wasn't easy, but I made it through. Occasionally, I would miss a class or two but I was able to be consistent throughout the challenge. I will say that I needed to update more frequently and maintain my workout log.

Run (at the minimum) one mile per week.

~ I definitely surpassed this goal with the help of Cheechoe who encouraged me (or pretty much forced me) to run five miles weekly. I would like to continue this routine as I find that it's a nice break from all the CrossFitting.

No more dinner (or meals) after 9pm.

~ I did decent with this goal as I was able to restrain myself from eating late but would occasionally falter. I have found that I no longer eat late since implementing this goal!

Life Quest!

Devote at least one hour each week for reading comic books.

~ Oh, yes. I got my weekly Saga fix, Avengers, Green Arrow, and many others. Why haven't you read "Y The Last Man" yet?! :)
