Trying something new with the chin-ups since reps were starting to get high - I'm working in isometrics (basically pausing at different points during the chin-up negatives for like 5 seconds in each place).  Tango is going awesome, and I'm learning really fast (or so I'm told).  Can't wait to try out my skills at a practica!

So, I definitely took full advantage of this week between challenges and walked behind the wagon for a bit.  I had several treats (food-wise), including a McDonald's run and a special night out.  I got lax in my flexibility training over the weekend as well.  That said, I felt strangely productive over the last four days.  I got my husband out for a long parking lesson on Saturday, went to a tango practica (basically a dance party to practice tango and only tango) to show off my skills to and with complete strangers, worked on my taxes (and mostly got everything done), paid our rent, helped my husband do a extra-thorough cleaning and reorganizing of the kitchen, finished the third book of Game of Thrones, started electronically cataloging all of our books, AND got through a bit more of FFIII.  Phew.  And somehow, I still didn't really feel busy.  I guess it felt good to not have anything scheduled for the weekend and to just let go and get some things done for myself.

 

With all that done and out of the way, I'm well rested and totally pumped for my third challenge!  Now I just have to write it up, lol.  My next post will be the link to my new battle log.  Ready, go!
