Main Quest: Be Able to Do a HeadstandI have tried doing a L-Seat for the past two challenges and I have not succeed. So I am aiming for something easier for this challenge... a headstand. More specifically, I want to be able to do this type of headstand: To achieve this, I will focuses on becoming more disciplined in the following ways: Goal 1: Eat RightEat quality calories. Consume less sugar and processed food.* Grading: A. 5+ days/wk stayed on target B. 4 days on target C. 3 days on target D. 2 days on target F. Only 1 day in a week on target. Goal 2: Hold the PlankBe able to hold forearm planking for 6 minutes by the end of this challenge.Continue strength training 3-4 times a week.* Grading: A. 6 minutes or more B. 5:00 - 5:59 minutes C. 4:00 - 4:59 minutes D. 3:30 - 3:59 minutes F. No change. Goal 3: Get Some ZzzSleep is important! Be in bed by 11:00pm.* Grading: A. 5+ days/wk stayed on target B. 4 days on target C. 3 days on target D. 2 days on target F. Only 1 day in a week on target. Life Quest: Do the Challenging Things First Each DayFor this goal, the purpose is for me to build up good habits and not procrastinate. So I will block out time to first do the things that require the most discipline each day when I arrive work.* Grading: A. 5+ days/wk stayed on target B. 4 days on target C. 3 days on target D. 2 days on target F. Only 1 day in a week on target. Motivation: I need to move on with my life and be happy. No more excuses and I am tired of coming up with excuses! I had too many Lindt chocolate truffles... Three to be exact... They were so yummy... Rawr... Goal 2: Started back on planking today and was able to hold a solid 3:00 plank. My final planking time came in at 4:37 for the last challenge. Definitely will need to work my way back to it. Goal 3: Sitting in bed now. Gonna check a few things and then call it a night! Rawr! So swamped and I ate a whole bar of this before I realized I did: Note to self: Don't keep chocolates in office... Other than that, I stayed away from greasy fried food at work. Had baked chicken and steamed veggie for lunch. Dinner was chicken soup with mushrooms and rice. Goal 2: Did yoga and meditation in the morning. Rest day for strength training. Goal 3: Had to stay up late to keep working on stuff for work. :\ Life Quest: Whole day was spent on work.. and more work... Hope Wednesday is a better day! Rawr! I tend to do most of my work where I do most of my eating, so I can understanding vanishing a chocolate bar before even realising. Week 1, Day 4: Goal 1: I munched on some dark chocolate pretzels and stopped myself before I ate the whole bag. At least they were dark chocolate?... I ate good for the rest of the day though. Lunch was chicken with steamed veggies and dinner I had veggie dumpling soup with shrimp and spinach. Goal 2: Did yoga and meditation in the morning. Planking time was close to 4 minutes. Rawr!But, I had an headache on the way home from work. Ugh. So no strength training... Goal 3: I was in bed by 11pm, but didn't fall asleep until much later.. like past 1 am..
