My poor karate students. They had no idea the warmup today would be for my own purposes of getting flight clearance. I figured if I'm going to do these anyway, they might as well join in the fun. Muahahaha! Wait, I probably shouldn't do the evil maniacal laugh when we're on a rescue mission in an experimental rocket ship. I'll save that for when we land.

Eek I'm going to miss take off if I don't hurry up!

 

I know the feeling!

I still have:

40 burpees

20 mountain climbers

20 squats

30 Pushups

left.  I'm heading out for the weekend, so I might not be able to post until late Sunday... but I'll be picking away at the list as I can!

This used to be where  my weight loss progress bar was. Maybe it will be here again when I'm ready to face the scale and work on my fat problem.

2013 Running Tally: I lost track in July, at 148.925  ((plus 0.5)) but I finished a Very Slow marathon in October. Then I mostly stopped.
2014 Running Tally: 134.1 miles plus 5k (as of 17 September) lost track again, but I know I had at least 147.2 plus 5k for 2014.
2015 Running Tally: 41.2 treadmilled miles & 251.93 real world miles

2016 Running Tally: 0

Done.  I substituted a whole bunch of forward rolls for the get ups so I'm just about ready for the anti-nausea shot.  The good news is I remembered to pack my metallic pink cat suit for the whole Barbarella look.

OK, ok fine.  I'm on the ship.  *huff huff*

So, in retrospect.   One who does not normally do burpees... doing them at the very end of your workout, which consisted of pull ups, bench press, squats and dead lifts?

Jofalltrades may take her time, but you can't say she doesn't get it done. Even if it's been awhile since she's done real bodyweight exercises. Oof. Everything is going to hurt tomorrow.

 

(I even wore my N7 hoodie to and from the gym, because I needed to channel some Commander Shepherd to get a lifting session and the challenge stuff done). :)

Aaaaand Epsilonx2 boards the ship with four minutes to spare! The last half of the burpees had to be quiet burpees since my housemates are sleeping, but I'm aboard and ready for week 3!!!

About halfway to the ship, I realized I couldn't rescue AKLulu without abandoning my responsibilities here, planetside.  I know she's gonna be fine with the rescue team I've seen boarding ahead of me, though!

Looking to his pocketwatch, Kingclumsy swore and ran out of his room. He bounded down the stairs, flirting with injury as he did. He ran out of the ranger's fort up the hill. They were headed off to rescue AKLulu and adventure was to be had. He'd just...lost track of time...he'd been busy he'd probably been a little lazy. As he arrived at the docks he looked around for the ship. "I, is...it" he sighed, and one of the local farms walked past. "Is it Sunday?"

"Monday, lad."

I was visiting family this weekend, so I finished the challenge but couldn't get on a computer and update.

 

Since no one saw me get on at the very last minute, I guess I'm a stow away :D Hope there's still a space suit available, or maybe I'll just make one out of duck tape while I'm hiding out down here in storage.
