I'm sorry. I suck. I came down with some horrendous flu out of nowhere. Started Thursday night but right now I'm bed ridden.

I really really wanted to compete with you guys but unless I feel better by tomorrow, I don't see it happening. :[

I should've gone for it Thursday. So sad! T_T

I'll try sleeping it off... will have a better idea of my condition later tonight to see if I can try for Sunday.

Did my final go around this morning.

 

BW: 236.2

 

Squat- 495, 525, 535

Bench- 315, 350

Deadlift- 475, 565

 

Total - 1,440

 

 

 

Ugh you just destroyed the difference between our deadlifts. I was only .2 wilks points behind on your first round. 

 

This may be the year to out deadlift you

Competed in my first comp today, and also got my lifts for here :)

S: 80kg

B: 40kg

D: 107.5kg

Also got a first place women's trophy for my troubles :)

NICE!

 

I'll be ready for this in three 1 month cycles! That should be exactly enough time to compete in the next, next competition.

 

I'll have to do DL/BP only though, as I currently don't have a way to squat. :(

Nice work! Are you going to do a write up of your experience in your challenge thread or anything? I always like reading those while I prep for my first comp (hopefully in May).

I definitely found that going and watching a bunch of competitions beforehand gave me a great idea of what to expect, and what the rules and calls were. Definitely recommend doing that to anyone who can!

Wait for me! I'm not 100%, but I don't think I can wait 4months for the next comp. I'm gonna do my attempts tonight. Wish me luck and don't close the books just yet!

Just finished my attempts. I'll post on the spreadsheet later tonight.. but for here are my numbers! Sorry in lbs will convert to kg on spreadsheet.

Lost 2pounds being sick so I'm 62kg (137lb)today not 63kg...

Squat:
1st- 225lb
2nd- 230lb
3rd- 235lb
This surpasses my previous pr by 10lbs! Have videos of all 3 squats..
Bench:
1st- 115lb
2nd- 120lb fail
3rd- 120lb fail

Deadlift:
1st- 245lb
2nd- 250lb fail
3rd- pass
My grip is the limiting factor. my tiny hands are too small to do hook grip.

Again..I'll update in kg. :)

The competition is over! Congratulations to the new Nerd Fitness Powerlifting Champions!

Chairohkey is the new NF Squat Champion with a Wilks score of 141.28! Second and third were Ancalagon the Black at 139.97 Gainsdalf at 115.99.

The new NF Bench Champion is Simon at 100.96! Second and third were Chairohkey at 94.19 and Gainsdalf at 79.50.

The new NF Deadlift Champion is Spezzy at 176.60. Second and third place were Chairohkey at 152.05 and Ancalagon the Black at 150.47!

Finally, the new NF Powerlifting Champion is Chairohkey with a Big 3 Wilks of 387.5. Second place was Ancalagon the Black at 367.42. Third was Spezzy at 367.15.

Lots of fun guys! The next competition will be toward the end of May.
