This is breakfast for today: 2 zucchinis, 4 eggs scrambled with garlic and other spices.

I didn't get my bum out of bed this morning to run/ train on hills. I was afraid of setting off a coughing fit and will attack the hills on Saturday. Stating it here for accountability :)

Dang, that looks like an amazing breakfast!

I hope you aren't beating yourself up too much for not running when you're sick. Sometimes it's a good idea to take a few days off, recover, and then come back strong.

That is my breakfast. Fried egg, chorizo sausage, red onion, cherry toms and baby spinach. Yummy :)

Thanks so much for coming to the CCC. Now that we have a few members, I have a couple of questions to pose to the group:

1. What would you like to get out of this group? If you could dream up a perfect accountability group, what would it be like? What type of support would you most like to give/receive as being a part of the collective?

2. How do you feel about doing a couple of structured team building/partner activities? We can call them mini challenges, but I'd like them to be focused on the goals we've already chosen for ourselves instead of totally new challenges. I'm also open to doing a little of both if that's what you want :)

I look forward to your input :D

I'm picturing something like knights of the roundtable. A little arthurian, sorry, but that's what comes to mind. From this group I would like positive yet realistic encouragement. I would also like to develop friendships and get to know everyone more than just by your screen name. I like being a cheerleader and being able to exercise that would be awesome. I really like genuine and realistic interactions as well as tips from people who are on a similar path as I am. I would also like to be more active on the forums and finding ways to interact would just be great.

A couple of mini-challenges would be pretty awesome. I like the FB group currently where I post breakfast photos, etc. For some reason, I have an easier time interacting on FB than I do here. If there is a way to improve interaction and activity on here, I would be all for it. As well as anything to help us get to know each other better.

Happy to be here :)

What would you like to get out of this group?

Sanity... or if that is not possible (heeheehee), recipe ideas and an appropriate Rick'Roll if I start to give in to laziness.

If you could dream up a perfect accountability group, what would it be like?

It would be entirely made up of swimmers, but they would not have most of the unfortunate personality defects of swimmers....

What type of support would you most like to give/receive as being a part of the collective?

Cats are naturally found in a liquid state, so should we all be. *starts handing out water bottles*

I am a fan of encouragement as far as support goes, however other than that area, I am at a bit of a loss at what else support might manage.

How do you feel about doing a couple of structured team building/partner activities?

Ooo! Structure could be fun.

Since this is a cross guild group, maybe share certain beloved activities from each guild every week?

Also, if anyone has diet mini-challenge ideas, I would love to hear them, and probably love you forever ;)

I like Rogaecia's ideas. I am totally up for a Facebook group!!!. To be honest I check Facebook several times a day on my phone but I only drop by the forums when I sit down at my PC (which is when I'm supposed to be working on something else).... plus I use my real name and picture on Facebook because a closed group has more privacy.

The perfect accountability group?   People who kick my arse when I'm being lazy, people who put up with my whinging when I'm having a bad day. lol

Mini challenges are cool, maybe something like "one thing I did that was awesome today!"
