Wufkar
Alright, here goes. Wufkar Reloaded.. and under the wire. Again. We'll address that a little bit later (heh.) The Road thus far:November 2012Weight: 175.6Body Fat: 35%Waist (Belly): 40"Hips: 41" December 22, 2013Weight: 138.6 lbsBodyFat: 25.94%Waist (Natural): 29"Waist (Belly): 33.5"Hips: 37.75"Wrist: 6"Forearm: 10" Motivation:A wedding in October with a low cut back. A Link for anyone interested. The picture is massive.http://d1u6600jqlx0jl.cloudfront.net/wt-225-teal/original/wt-225-teal-front-oatmeal.jpg I'm not the bride, just the bridesmaid. Overall Goals:Lose 8% bodyfat, not necessarily this six weeks but this year.Quit Smoking Challenge Goals:Work out at least 3 times a week if not more.I have the T25 plan, and would like to follow that which is 6 workouts 5 days a week. The only trouble is that it's not what I like to do. I like to lift heavy, unfortunately, my shoulder needs rehab via a physical therapist most likely and my power cage isn't yet finished. I have to also find or build a weight lifting bench. No Fast Food. At all. This can be difficult because I'm a project manager/Network Engineer for a local ISP here in Nebraska and we're spooling up the first quarter projects. This means that I have meetings where I'm driving around the state to meet up with the other providers that are partners for some large cell tower projects. Eat PaleoLast year this worked superbly for me and I felt better doing it.I've also found some tasty recipes, proving that I don't just have to eat chicken to make this work Life Goal:Learn how to style my hair. I know this sounds weird, but it's something I've also struggled with, not because I find it difficult but because it seems pointless. I'm learning it's not pointless, yet my brain still say "meh. clip it up". I really need to put more effort into sophistication. Challenges I recently moved to Nebraska, I've still got a lot of balls in the air and juggling them is taking a decent amount of effortNebraska SUCKS for finding decent salads in the winter And I think that's about it. I'm not quite sure of the best way to rate this.Any suggestions are appreciated. Edited to fix dates. Cort
Am I reading this correctly? You list over 35lbs in just one month? That's pretty substantial. Raxie
<3 Felicia Day/Supernatural. I like your goals! That dress is stunning.. I'm sure you'll look great in it Also, my younger sister is going to cosmotology school and has been teaching me how to do updoes on myself. It really is awesome to learn, I feel way less classy when I'm invited out to do something nice and everyone's hair looks awesome and I'm like cool. Side ponytail FTW. Most of them are pretty easy/quick with practice, you can do it! There are a lot of really great tutorials online. Good luck! forty-seven: Raxie and the Joining of Unlike Things << previous challenges >> >> instagram || goodreads << Link to comment

In all seriousness though, I really feel like it's time to be more sophisticated but I never really played with makeup or hairstuff as a kid. Just wasn't my thing. I'd rather be working on cars or building stuff. I have a shorter, jaw length hair cut right now. I think I need to spend half a weekend day just fussing with it or something. Raxie
I'm with you... I have been doing the same exactly make up (concealer & mascara) since my junior year of high school. My sister has also actually been teaching me how to do smokey eye and fun things like that too. Though in all honesty she was really good at the stuff before even going to school, she tells me she learned most of it from just watching tutorials on youtube. can.. can I borrow your sister? I'll give her back! I've been telling her she should make her own tutorials, she's such a good teacher! Then I can share her with the world. hahah. 1 forty-seven: Raxie and the Joining of Unlike Things << previous challenges >> >> instagram || goodreads << Link to comment

EmCee
Hello! As for the hair thing, I chopped mine off to my shoulders, thinking it would help me style it, but now I just dry it and then leave it. Halfway through the day I put it in a bun with a pen for a holder. Seriously. I don't get the women who have perfect hair - HOW DID YOU DO THAT and why can't mine look amazing all day? Best of luck Great progress so far and I would like to see dress pictures too. It's beautiful! Letting go is the hardest asana. Instagram: WholeBodySwoleHeart Link to comment

Wufkar
Soo.. Today. I didn't work out.. but! I did stay Paleo.. except for a beer. I'm having to catch up on work after I get home this week because on Sunday I drove through that wonderful Winter Storm... aaaand it took til Monday afternoon to get home. Thus, I'm behind. I'm trying to work enough after hours to not have to use up another vacation day so that I can then use that to go to the UK sometime this year. Anyways: Foods Total Calores: 1339 That beer was 190 calories. No! it was bad! The plan is to get up tomorrow do a T25 workout then go into work. On non-workout days I want to eat 1200 calories, workout days 1600 calories. I think that should keep me going on the right track. (Man, House is really just grooving out up there. I like I can see my gif play while I type) I'm going to try and adjust my diet so it's more protein, more eggs. less bananas. I'm really having a torrid affair with bananas. It's quite scandalous. Alright, off to sleep! Current Challenge: Wufkar Stops Making Excuses ------------------------------------------------------ Link to comment
Cort
Same boat - mom and sister did the girly things while I went outside and played in mud puddles and dug for dinosaur bones. I think I'm the boy my dad never had. I just started branching out with eye makeup a few years ago at my husband's insistence. My range of hairstyles varies from down, (frizzy wavy inconsistent curl - sometimes I use mousse to tame it down), to ponytail, to bun when I'm at work. Ta da! Human WarriorNon nobis, Domine. I feel like I haven't been getting enough food in sometimes so I default to a banana about 30 minutes before the gym. 1 Letting go is the hardest asana. Instagram: WholeBodySwoleHeart Link to comment

Wufkar
K, something's not quite right. I got home last night, and was completely exhausted. As in I leaned against the door frame for five minutes. I did 10 Pushups OverHead Press with an empty bar and had problems stabilizing as well as locking it out. Not sure if it's just carb flu from being carb heavy last week at my brothers, to full on paleo this week. Wufkar
Ugh, all day today I've been shaky and cold, completely sapped for no reason. so, in an attempt to decipher if it's carb flu or not.. I got some popeyes chicken. ... an hour later.. I feel better. so, maybe that's why I was eating so many bananas. .. my body craved the carbs.
