Journey from Trash mob to Final Boss

I have decided to keep an online record of my workouts and food intake. I hope that this will keep me motivated and on track.

 

My plan

Yoga at home everyday leading up to actually taking a class Yoga1 Yoga2 DDP yoga

Cardio on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sat or Sun trying to do HIIT but I can't run on the treadmill YET.

Weights at home using the Beginner Body Weight Circuit Workout on Monday, Wednesday,  and Friday.

I will expand upon this as I go

 
Day 1 - Thursday Jan 23rd
 
Food Intake
Breakfast: PY - Nuts and water, PTY - 1 Sweet Potato cut up & microwaved for 5 min, coffee w/ halfnhalf
Lunch: (eaten very late) PTC - Smoked Salmon, 10 Green beans & 1 carrot
Dinner: Caribbean food that was not by any means on my diet  :nightmare: but it was very tasty
Snacks: 1 Pear, 1/2 cup Chia pudding, 1 banana

 
Workout 
Morning: 30 mins of yoga2

Still having problems with downward dog

 

Afternoon: 30 min of cardio on treadmill alternating speed from 2.5 - 4 I did this for 1.1 mile

Day 2 - Friday Jan 24th
 
Food Intake
Breakfast: 1/4 c Chia Pudding, 1 Banana, Coffee w/ halfnhalf

Lunch: PY/PW 1 avacado, PTY/PTW Stuffed pepper (ground pork, white rice, and a little feta cheese)
Dinner: Two nights in a row I have gone off diet, tonight I had chicken fried steak and some equally unhealthy sides
Snacks: handful of pecans, 1 apple

 

I have to do better over the weekend

 
Workout 
Morning: None

Afternoon: 30 mins of yoga switched to DDP yoga and liked it

Afternoon: Did Beginners weight workout: squats 20x3, pushups 10x2, Plank 15sx1, Rows 20lbs 20x3, Jumping Jacks 15x1

                  Due to my quads being on the sore side I was unable to any lunges.

Lunch: Chicken salad 
Dinner: Burger w/side salad, 1 mixed drink

Snacks: 1 Banana, 1 pear, handful of pecans

Still having problems with downward dog

So its day 4 of my battle logs and I've been doing really great w/ exercising but I have eaten out every night but I am putting that behind me and moving on. I look forward to what tomorrow will bring and have started buying shirts that are one size smaller to help motivate myself.

 

Day 4 - Sunday Jan 26th
 
Food Intake
Breakfast: PY - 1 banana, 2 spoonfuls of chia pudding & coffee w/ halfnhalf
Lunch: Hot Dog, Salad with homemade miso dressing, 10 almonds
Dinner: 1 Broiled Pork Chop, 1/2c sauteed kale, 1/4c whipped cauliflower

Snacks:

Water: 64oz

Downward dog is improving

Lunch: 1 Avocado, 1 salmon cake
Dinner: shrimp and paleo grits

Snacks: 1 Apple, 3/4c mixed raisins, 10 almonds

Workout 
Morning: 30 mins of yoga1

Downward dog is improving but not great

Morning: BBWW decided to up the weight and reps on the rows to 20/20x3 and finish my squats with jumps but after the 1st set of 20 I went back to normal. My push-ups are still half-assed.

I have been trying to increase my water intake and now that my wife has gotten me a nice 32 oz nalgene bottle with the amount lines on it I can keep track of what I am drinking.

 

The real question is how much is enough? I drank 64 oz yesterday and stopped drinking at 8 pm so I wouldn't get up in the middle of the night but it didn't work. I think I will have to get the majority of my water in before 5 pm so I can sleep through the night. 

 

Today I am on track to drink at lease 96 oz's of water.

As I sit here waiting to be called for jury Duty I wish I had worked out yesterday. Hopefully I will get out of here soon so I can do my yoga, bbww, & get to the gym for some cardio. I feel blah.

Ok I have totaly slacked on doing my log (but not my eating or work outs)

 

Day 37 - Friday Feb 28th
 
Food Intake
Breakfast: Coffee Smoothie (w/1 banana, 1 scoop protein powder, 8oz almond milk, and 2tbs chia (oh and 8oz coffee))

Lunch: I was in a rush so Pineapple smoothie (1/2 cup frozen pineapple, yogurt, 1 scoop protein powder, 8oz almond milk)
Dinner: 1 large pork rib, 1c mixed greens w/ balsamic dressing

Snacks: 5 Almonds, orange, 

Very late night meal: My wife got home late and ordered Chinese food. I had some boneless spareribs and a chicken finger. Blah!

Water: Goal is >48oz - 48oz
