Challenge on Consciousness Episode II

Hey,

week one is over and some of you won amazing insights. You should continue the focus on food.

Everything about consiousness and part I can be found here!

Part 2 until Thursday:

  • Find 10 things you can be conscious about an be it. Things means everything like actions, habits, material things, feelings....
  • Continue posting recipes!
  • Continue your work on food if you like

Part 2.5 until Monday:

Be conscious about the weekend changes!

Find 5 differences you can be conscious about!

Do things change when you are conscious about them?

How many why's are behind your 1st answer?

So if you ask why? ask the same for the answer.

Why do I feel like that? Because I'm in a bad mood. Why? Because I need vacation. Why? Because I'm unhappy with my job! Why? Because I have to do crap 50% of the time and just can spend 30 with what I love at my job.

If you are new start with part 1 or 2!

Yikes, 10 things! I can do it, I think.. 

Well, if it wasn't challenging it wouldn't be a challenge! This might be a "write a list and put it in your pocket so you don't forget" type thing.

I'm going to pick a few different things every day and then focus on them for the day; hopefully by Thursday I should have stacked a few different thoughts together and that will give me a few things to think about.

10! At once? Crikey. Will have to think on that...Sorry. Sent from my phone using 14 thumbs mashing independently and with great enthusiasm.

I strongly recommend starting with one thing.

Proceed slightly faster than you think you can, but no more. If you end up with 5 things and 5 new insights that is superawesome and better than no insights, but 10 things.

Just start with one and try to get to ten...

Just saw this...but I pretty much do this everyday with the daily meditations I am doing...so I am going to count those and add anything else I come across. I definitely still need to work on my relationship with my food and my body and how the two interact.

I have been really conscious in the last two days of how the food I eat makes me feel.

It is very strange for me not to document this, just to be conscious of it. I am used to scientific exploration where I document the experimental changes I make. If I eat this, what symptoms occur and at what time intervals. Being conscious, just conscious of something is a very strange feeling.

Science is a way of consciousness. But the classic scientific approach is very limited ;)

 

If you continue to be conscious about food being conscoius about its effects on your body is step 2 ;)

4. Doubt & fear
5. Jealousy 
6. Self worth
7. criticizing others

8. Laziness and procrastination
9. Goal setting and achievement
10. Nail biting

Do those all count? Am I on the right track? Lol! I could go on all day with the things I would like to be more conscious about and eventually adjust or knock out (bad habit wise at least)

Ok...my attempt to work on my relationship with my food and my body in a more positive way, culminated in me deciding to start a thread for Daily Posting of Positive Body Image and/or Positive things regarding our relationships with food. It will work similar to the HOoRAY thread, details will be worked out in the next 24 hrs and I will post links all over the place to generate interest :D

Apparently I have sunk pretty deep into my little hole of anti social life. Missed part one completely and now I only have one day for part 2 :(

You can always do part 1 when you have time, at least you are here now, not giving up is what counts!

New PvS thread: Love Your Body and your Food

It's for everyone that struggles with loving their body and/or struggles with their relationship with food :)

Sunmage or Evenewbie...would you mind sharing this with other guild leaders to generate cross guild interest, or should I message them myself? I don't want to go posting new threads in other guilds without the approval of the GL's. Thank you and I hope to see everyone there :)

Ooooooh I thought of a non-food related one! I need to be more conscious about how I talk to/about my kids. They drive me NUTS! but then I am not very nice either, so how can I expect kind, nice, decent, honest,caring behavior if I don't display it to them?

New PvS thread: Love Your Body and your Food

I'm sorry I have to disappoint you. We can't spam the other Guild leaders with every PvP challenge.

You as druid Bekah(not Ambassador) can post a link in their chat or fireplace or post in challenge threads of people who might need this super awesome group!

I recommend Sambalina the warrior.

Anyhow I will write Steve about the consciousness challenge, so he could make a blog post about that!

It's a great idea and many people need this. Most of them are not ready to attack this topic, though. =(

Weekend changes! mine definitely changes, but while I was thinking about it this weekend, something happened and I did better then normal!
