Jittersthe.Clown Posted February 24, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 24, 2014 It's cold here for the start of my challenge. Currently, 1 degree above zero. If weather.com is to be believed, I won't see above 20 for the next 10 days at least. But, I'm a Minnesotan and the cold is my ally.It slowed me down while driving, that's for sure, but that's alright. I was able to help a few cars out of the ditch this weekend. Also, my entire front yard is now the best spot for a a snowball fight. The kids and I made it into a nice trench style fort. We shoveled a few trenches and it became a fort, complete with "secret" areas for storing valuables lice icicles and snow chunk bombs... Amazing how that happens. And the both were passed out each night by 7, so good news there. Lots of shoveling, however made my arms a bit sore. Going to lift after work, though I'm not expecting any PRs today, it will be good to get in there. And maybe a beer after will be needed. I hope everyone starts off this challenge well and keeps it going for the whole six weeks. Let's rock this! Here in NL it's spring-like, so I think that'd be an ideal climate for them. xD But you really had trouble sleeping because you were thinking about zombies? Yeah, sometimes my mind gets a little too active and it makes it hard to sleep. I kept going over my houses defenseablitiy. It's got high windows, but after seeing World War Z (and spoiler! it's not like the book) I am not sure that's going to be enough. The cold climate and doors that swing out are my best defense right now. And driving to a friends house that takes this very seriously. His only rule, you have to be useful to stay.
