noxiousGnome Posted February 19, 2014 Report Share Posted February 19, 2014 Main Objective: Removing Bloatware Main Goal: This challenge is all about removing the bloat, in my case that pesky stuff around my midsection and chest. So to do that I will start implementing a more rigorous workout regimen and fuel my body with the proper foods. Producing a leaner and more functional piece of equipment! Goal 1: To start I am in severe need of controlling my food intake!Two weeks ago (roughly) I started implementing the Paleo Diet, it has been pretty effective and easy going thus far for me. I hope to take it to the next level and beat LW’s 82 days of it, no cheating. Now, that’s gonna be hard cause I am still new to this, we shall see! *Go Paleo 7 days a week (will take 6 as an A if not many done) Goal 2: Working out the BugsWhen I started back up with the last challenge I decided to work on bodyweight exercises and jogging, I didn’t do to well completing that portion. This time I plan on conquering my laziness and doo eet! *I will warm-up, jog, bodyweight exercises 3 times a week. Goals 3: Functional Strength is okay, but what about the bending? *I plan to do mobility training, by either mass stretching or mobilityWOD or something similar 2 days a week Goal 4: All Work and No Play Makes Noxy a dull boySo the last thing is simple, I need to have fun (else I go crazy, get bored, get discouraged, etc)… *So two days out of the week I plan on doing whatever I want! noxiousGnome Posted February 24, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 24, 2014 So far my day has been going as such: Walked up and down the campus as needed, I took the elevator once today to get to a class, ankle has been bothering me (it popped harshly when on the bus this morning... Very strange) I would count this as cardio, but it's not entirely what I wanted to do. Food thus far: I had a bunch of beef jerky today and some trail mix, will be eating an apple sometime between now and dinner and then beef stew tonight for foods. Haven't been highly motivated to do much of anything else. May try to do some exercising/more cardio tonight when I get home, or I will do something else fun and entertaining. I have a few from last challenge as well! the mushroom bacon cheese burger was last challenge as was the eggs,spinach,garlic,bacon,sausage,and asparagus scramble. Last night was the pizza! noxiousGnome Posted March 7, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 7, 2014 I think I figured out my unyielding miserable state of being. It goes something like this: Work has denied my change in availability form because they are royal assholes. I have been forced to leave college early (missing a class) in order to make it to work so I don't get fired. I changed my availability for Fridays for being able to work to being not available... I did this for two reasons: First I take public transportation to and from school, it's cheaper and what not. Sadly I have to take two buses to get from home to school, but to get from school to home I hope a bus and only can make it half way there every day Monday - Friday, my wife, or someone else, has to pick me up at the drop off point everyday. They told me it wasn't enough hours to work with, and apparently there isn't much I can do wiggle room for that. They essentially gave me two reasons (well that they stated) and those are: School Leave (no pay) or I shift my schedule for them to a more acceptable time. Now, here is the rub there. If I take school leave, which doesn't get paid, I am in a bind when it comes to helping my wife support our family. If I shift my schedule to a more acceptable time then my wife has to get our daughter around and drive down to get me between 11PM and midnight because I don't have my license yet AND even if I did we only have one vehicle. In reality I have a few more options, one is to quit, but that puts me in the same boat as school leave. Or see if I can switch my last class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to an Independent Study after midterms... Which probably isn't feasible. -sighs- SO I have no clue what the hell I am going to do. Dropping the class is too late because it is already effecting my GPA and it would cost me some crazy amount of money to do it.
