MAIN QUEST
To hit my goal range of 125-135 and do it in a healthy way!

Goals (diet and fitness related) that will help me achieve Main Quest:
           1. Hit Goal 4: -40 lbs: 179 or Size 13 or Waist size 32" - New boots!
Track this by logging weight.
Grading
A: 179 or size 13 or waist size 32
B: 182 or size 13 or 14 or waist size 33
C: 185 or size 14 or waist size 34
D: 187 or size 15 or waist size 35
F: >189 or size 16+ or waist size 36+
Ability to earn 4 CON points.


           2. Reduce sugar! (This is something I will be doing gradually, because when I go cold turkey I seem to fall off the wagon really easily. So, for the first 3 weeks, no sugar in coffee or tea. For the last 3 weeks, no candy at work.)
Grading:

First 3 weeks:

A: 19-21 days without sugar in coffee or tea
B: 16-19 days without sugar in coffee or tea
C: 13-15 days without sugar in coffee or tea
D: 9-12 days without sugar in coffee or tea
F: <9 days without sugar in coffee or tea
Ability to earn 2 CON points.

 

Last 3 weeks:
A: 19-21 days without candy at work
B: 16-19 days without candy at work
C: 13-15 days without candy at work
D: 9-12 days without candy at work
F: <9 days without candy at work
Ability to earn 2 CON points.

           3. Start and Finish a Squat Challenge:
Grading
A: 17-18 days
B: 15-16 days 
C: 13-14 days 
D: 10-12 days
F: <10 days
Ability to earn 2 STR, 2 STA points.

3) PICK YOUR SIDE QUESTS

Oh my gosh!!! I totally forgot to mention this, but my 13 year old son, X, has decided to quit sugar with me!! This kid is amazing!!! He quit pop a few months ago all by himself! I told him he did not have to quit sugar with me, but he said, "yeah I do, I want to be healthy!" He's awesome!!!

So... our contract is up with Wildblue satellite internet and we are NOT renewing it... it's awful!! We live outside the city limits so we can't get cable or DSL, and there is no google fiber in our near future... I am looking at EVDO from this site: http://www.evdodepotusa.com ... does anyone have any experience with this type of internet? I was told that X could play his Xbox360 and we could watch Netflix with no problems... but it is a $250 installation/equipment and $120 a month for unlimited data... very pricey!! Any thoughts? Also though about Hughesnet... we've had them years ago and hated them, but I know technology has changed... but I also know the latency is BAD for gaming!

Off the subject, but we have been having the weirdest weather this winter!!! A few weeks ago we had a foot of snow. This week it's been warm so everything melted and yesterday we had thunderstorms and hail, and together we had more thunderstorms and then it SNOWED!!! What the heck!!?

I live in a rural area but a new/small company that does not advertise well put up fiber to the schools. They offer wireless internet to anyone around by putting an antenna on the line and one on your house, as a way to save cost. If local schools have fiber, ask if there is a way to do something like this? It is $200 for installation but just $40-$55 a month.

Harika, is it anything like this: http://www.kccoyote.com/services.html ? It is a $300 installation, but after researching every possibility out there, this is the best one, especially for the money, and X would be able to play games on Xbox Live and we would be able to watch Netflix.

I think that is who we are going to go with... have to get them out to do a site check. The install is so expensive, but our other options are more expensive per month for less bandwidth and we are not doing satellite again! Too slow and laggy, and too many caps!

Nice reward system. I saw a tattoo on there as a reward. I have been dangling that carrot for myself as well. But I have yet to assign it to an actual goal yet... As far as rural interent goes, I use Verizion HomeFusion. But of course it is limitited on the amount of data (I have 10 GB/mo) so I do not stream movies or play games online... It is superfast with almost no latency though.

Well... the internet company never replied to my emails today... so I guess I won't know anything until Monday or something. At least I still have my phone! I am getting ready to head home and dig into my packages of elastic that are sitting in my mailbox right now according to my tracking numbers! Woot!! I might even watch some scary movies tonight while organizing all the elastic. X. is spending the night at grandpa's and hubby is in clinicals until after 10:00 so I am on my own! Wish I had something to drink! LOL

Underwear photos are where it's at for progress. It's great to see that you have the courage to put it out there. You'll probably notice that most of mine were in shorts, swim trunks, or a kilt. I think I might stick with the kilt myself, theme and all. But clothed pictures makes it really tough to see the progress. Any clothing covering anything really hides the progress, so letting as much out will give you the best idea of progress. So keep going with those shots and don't you dare apologize for them, lets us see your progress very visually. The progress is really showing too, go you!
