v Main Quest: I want to lose 10 pounds in 10 weeks.

No fast food, hot Cheetos, or soda.

30 minutes of cardio at the rec/park every day.

7-8 hours of sleep every night!

Do not eat in front of TV or computer!

v Life Quest: Get a 4.0 this semester

Study 6 hours/class spread out throughout week

Study SMART, not HARD!

Two office hours per week (Different Prof.)

v Measurable: Take measurements and pictures every week

v Attainable: Take a picture of every meal throughout the day & add calories consumed with Pixlr.

v Realistic: 1 pound per week is do able, not out of this galaxy. I CAN DO THIS!

v Timely: I want to accomplish this goal by April 28, 2014!

You can do this!!! Great goal. I think starting with small goals sets us up for success and life changes. I am also using an old picture for motivation. :-)

o   Today, I did cardio for 30 minutes and did not eat fast food, hot Cheetos, or drink soda.

o   It is now 10 PM and I really want a snack but I’m going to study instead.

o   How does everyone time manage work/school with weightless goals?

§  This is something really hard for me.

§  I don't want to lose focus in school or in my health.

Well, early in the morning or later at night. Working out too late is not so conducive to sleeping well, but I'm not a morning person. I have a long commute so I'm up early enough as it is.

Lately I've been taking my gear to work and working out during my prep or lunch. Do you have a break during the day? Maybe something to keep in mind when you schedule next semester :)
