Warm Up - Weight used: 8lb medicine ball. Modification: 90 singles instead of 30 doubles.

 

Strength - Press:

WOD - Weight used: 33lb bar (empty). Box used: 10in. Modification: Step-ups instead of jumps.

Random thing - I picked up my ring today after having it resized! It went from a 6.5 to a 5.25, which I think is pretty awesome. Also, not only did they resize and recoat/seal it (it's white gold, so it has a rhodium coating), they redid the engraving details that had worn down over the years too!

Crossfit

 

Warm UpModifications: 

800m alternating running/walking.

4 modified rope climbs

5 band assisted almost pull ups

15 overhead squats (with pvc pipe)

10 jumping lunges

 

Strength - Deadlifts:

63x5
83x3
103x3

 

WOD - Modifications:

15lb bar for snatch

Barbell flat on ground for bar jumps.

Time completed: 9:57

 

Burnout:

(3 rounds) Kettlebell holds - 15lbs in each hand.

(2 rounds) Plank hold

(2 rounds) Jump rope - 75 singles.

*PR* - Did a double under! Pretty sure anyway.

 

Strength - Overhead Squats:

WOD - Modifications:

15lb bar for push jerks

60 singles

15lb kettlebell

200m alternating running and walking

Time completed: 26:21

So... I usually dislike posting pictures of myself (other than the occasional face-selfie), but I'm really proud that I can fit into these pants I got at J.Crew in December that I was -way- too big for at the time.

[Workout - 5/4/2014]

 

Crossfit

 

Warmup - Modifications:

15lb kettlebell

Jump pull ups (first 2 rounds)

Inverted Rows (last round)

 

Strength - Overhead Squats:

15x8 x3

 

WOD - Modifications:

35lb Barbell (Squat jumps and high pulls)

20lb x2 KB carry

Regular pushups

Hanging pull up hold (not above the bar)

Time: 15 minutes (2 rounds, + wall walks & squat jumps) - I couldn't actually finish this WOD. I was wiped out and feeling like I might get sick so I did as much as I could in 15 minutes.
