Motivational fitness videos featuring women that, you know... isn't porn?

Recommended Posts

Gah finding motivational videos that are not porn is rough.

I usually gravitate towards gymnastics or professional athlete's videos in order to find something that is not overly sexualized. I've found that any of the recent Under Armour I will what I want campaigns have been incredible motivating featuring Misty Copeland, Kelley O’Hara & the US Women's Gymnastic.

Those are incredible but that last one made my torso hurt just watching. Holy moly!

Sorry!  I love watching contortionists so sometimes forget that not everyone is a huge fan of weird backbending...  I can never get over the strength and body control they have :love-struck:

Behold! Daisy Ridley's stunt double!

She is doing some cool staff stuff and a lot of it looks like stuff we would do in color guard in high school when we actually took the flags off the poles. I can not tell you how many times I've thwapped myself in the face.

Rey needs a saberstaff in the next movies. Because I need to see this thing or my life will not be complete. She's magic with that staff.

I found a tampon/pad commercial that is actually pretty epic and weirdly empowering for me. It's just got women kicking ass and taking names and all sorts of athletes. Ballet dancers, skateboarders, runners, surfers- there's even a chick in freaking armor. This ad is fantastic.

Sorry if this has been posted before, I haven't caught up with all the posts since I was last on here. It's short but I love it! :)

Awesome videos! Although seeing women referred to as girls is frustrating. *grump grump grump*

I get that but considering some are kids, I don't mind the girl reference too much.

I don't know if anyone has included her yet, but I really enjoy MegSquats videos. She's always featuring other female lifters from different sports (Olympic lifting, strongman, bodybuilding, etc.). Mostly, I appreciate how she refers to her audience as her "Strong Strong Friends" because it's not very often that we get videos appreciating the strength of everyone at every part of their journey.
