Hey guys!

Since I already did my first 6week challenge, i wanna keep track of everything on a daily basis.
since I tend to forget, and therefor slip with food mostly, I'm going to keep my promise of connecting here daily.

I'll introduce me quickly:
I'm Saskia, 22y/o, from the Netherlands. I currently weigh around 85kg (its not my "correct" weight cuz im stacking up fluids massively due to drinking to little and my new injection which i get every 12weeks). i already lost 14kg with NF but hey im pretty much halfway there.

My workout schedule:

Monday: 15minute cardio - chestday (chest, tricep and rotary cuffs) - 1500m rowing - cooldown

Tuesday: cardio day; 1 level of Zomby Run 5K Training (usually 30minutes) - 2500m rowing - core - stretching (and usually do 1 level of "The Walk)

Wednesday: 15min cardio - Back day (Back, biceps and shoulders) - 1500m rowing - cooldown

Thursday: cardio day; 1 level of Zomby Run 5K Training (usually 30minutes) - 2500m rowing - core - stretching (and usually do 1 level of "The Walk)

Friday: 15minutes cardio - Legday (legs + butt) - 1500m row - cooldown

Saturday: cardio day; 1 level of Zombie Run 5K Training (usually 30minutes) - 1 level of The Walk (1hour of walking)

Sunday: Restday (usually i walk allot with le boyfriend on this day)

Food strategy:

i dont wanna restrain myself but just have more controll. I wont hate myself when i eat stuff i shouldnt (think: chocolat, candy) since that will become a vicious circle.

i need to drink 2.5L WATER a day, so no junky, sugary (but delicious) drinks. and when I do drink those it will be not more than 330ml (one can).
Also i wanna start drinking more "real" tea. No sugar, no stupid premade bags :3

Foodwise like i said im not going to restrain myself but i need more control. Since i live with my parents i cant decide for myself what time dinner will be (18:00pm here) so that sucks. Id like to have dinner at 20:30 so i wont go into hungry mode in the evenings so i have to play around with snacks.
Also since im still in school, my daily schedule differs + every 6-8 weeks my full schedule changes... so annoying.

So yeah thats it thusfar. gonna remeasure myself now and have a good one!

So today was a Saturday which meant:

 

- 1 run with Zombie Run

- 1 walk with "The Walk"

 

Done and Done :3

 

Jogged approx 3.9km (=2.42 miles) in a little over 30minutes. Its not brilliant but hey! 4months ago i'd laugh at you if you'd told me i would run this time around.

Walked 4.2km (= 2.61 miles) aswell.

Also im gonna do the BBWW today aswell just cuz I feel like it.

 

The only annoying thing at this moment is my horrid sun-allergy. It itches and isnt pretty, but my body needs to get used to it again I guess (weirdly its only on my chest/neck area, and not shoulders or anything else :/)

 

Food:

 

Don't really have a choice in this, since I still live with my parents, but I snack healthy, drank over 2.4L already today (consisted of 2.1L Water and 1 can of coke)

So today was a good day!

 

Since I finished this last Challenge (my first one) with 85% SUCCES-rate, I wanted to celebrate this with my significant other (SO). So after some cuddle time first, we went to "Scheveningen", which is the part of The Hague (NL) with a nice boulevard and shops and! SEA! :D

 

After a nice stroll allong the boulevard, checking out the Sea Life thing (we'll go there another time, since my SO has a major fishtank fetish going on atm) and the game hall (Cuz well gamer :3) we went for some very nice Brazilian food. My SO lived in Brazil for a couple of years during his young childhood so that was extra special. Brazilian kitchen = Meat, so... much meat! Mrrr Ultimate cheatday got ultimate thanks to some Ben and Jerries (Peanut butter cup). But I was modest in that, only one scoop (whilst SO went for 2 :P).

 

We've walked some more, got in the car and got into some funny "Where the frigging fuuu are the ATM's here" whilst in the end we didnt need cash, and when we got home we walked even more.

 

Over 20k steps today! Mrr feels great.

 

Tomorrow the whole Water - Healthy snack - normal portion dinner - thing will start again and also today my scale told me my fatpercentage is a little above 29 now. Starting from over 36% that's a pretty lovely view. A 2!!! :D

 

So good day was good, tomorrow gym thing, gotto make sure I sleep enough now and just yeah that :D

Brazilian....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm so good. There is a nice Brazilian place here and when I go (not very often...VERY expensive) I call it a "protein load" haha. BTW, I think it's awesome that you guys are over in the Netherlands. I never got the chance to visit that part of Europe, unfortunately, but I did spend about 7yrs in Germany during the more formative years of my life and I'm very thankful for that experience! Talk about a culture shock when I came back to the United States!

The Brazilian Restaurant had a special coupon so we could go with 2 for the price of 1 :3 So then suddenly it's affordable, but 30.- p.p excl drinks... Nah!

Decent day was Decent.

Ofcourse I had a bit of a drop after yesterday, since well that day was brilliant, so I was prepared for allot of procrastination in the morning, allot of meh's muh's and NYUUUHS. Well that happened, so I was happy I already packed my bag, had some little breakfast (8 "Party Crackers" with 15+ cheese spread, cuz hey! Im a dutchy!) and slowely got my motor running towards going to the gym.

 

I arrived way too late but I did my Chest day :)

- Seated dibs

- Dumbell chest press

- Inclined dumbell chest press

- Tricep cable extentions (my shoulders HATE the dumbell tricep works)

- Flies

- Straight-Arm Dumbbell Pullover

 

+ 15minutes cardio on a weird thing I still dont know its name of, since all the fun stuff was taken :(

 

Also I noticed I have allot of cravings in the evenings, but when I went out yesterday with le boyfriend I havent had food after 7PM, and only because I didnt have that craving. So now I'm going to eat fat cottage cheese when I get cravings cuz apparently I just need more proteins! Especially Tues-Wed + Friday are horrid cuz my mom is quite poor, she cant give me the ammounts of meet needed, and i HATE protein shakes :P This is the closest I can get to a relatively low in fat, low in caloric intake but high in protein, which also makes my tummy less messed up and is actually somewhat enjoying to eat.

 

The plan is to (we can buy bins in 500ml) eat 250ml in the evening and 250ml in the morning so I spread the proteins throughout the day, since as lunch I usually get a baguette with chicken fillet <3 Mrrr

 

So for food today:

 

Breakfast: Crackers with cheese spread

Lunch: small baguette with chicken fillet + lettuce + cucumber and tomato (no sauce)

Dinner: Macaroni (tomatosause) + cheese + cucumber + Pickles (and other veggies within the macaroni)

Snacks: - High fiber + good grain cookie

              - fat cottage cheese with raisins

 

Drinkwise: No pop, only water (2.1L thusfar)

 

Steps: About 13.5K (not bad)

another decent day.

woke up after 10hours of a unsteady sleep. woke up a couple of times and didnt hear my alarm (or pushed it out whilst still asleep)

so i woke up, got ready for school and then for the gym. Since i have to make allot of homework in the evenings i cant play the walk, so im slightly tensed cuz of the lack of movement. So i made a slight detour going to school, and finally picked up a copy of the Hobbit (the book), and went to class.

afterwards immediatly to the gym!! it was cardio day and starting week 3 of Zombie Run! so eventhough my pace went down, I ran further than i ever did; 5.06km! Theres hope!

so now food/drink summary and steps:

- breakfast (10am): 8crackers with cheese spread

- lunch (14pm): 2 whole grain crackers with cream cheese

- dinner: cole flower(?), chicken legs and potatoes

- snacks: - 2 whole grain crackers with cream cheese

- 250ml fat cottage cheese with raisins

Drinks: 2.1L water

Steps: a lil over 16k

so im typing this whilst heading home from the gym! it was wonderfull! :D

did allot of pulldowns (shame on me for machine use, but i love it), a shitton of rows and! overhead barbell press!

first time i did them, cuz i was scared of picking the wrong weight and such but starting with 20kg was a good one. Did that 4x8 and gosh! it feels so nice, i can wait to press more!

also did some barbel rows and jumped on the bike for 30minutes, which at first felt great but when i sat down after showering i injured my tailbone again (happens allot, and mostly with sitting on a bike, hence why i rarely use them).

Here have picture of my "pumped" back over the time of about 6months (2months of no training, but massive progress have been made though, im proud)

So food - drink - steps overview:

 

Breakfast: - 8 Crackers with cheese spread

Snack: - whole weat cookies with raisins
Lunch: - Subway 15cm honey oat, ham, cheese and all the veggies

Snack: - 2 crackers with cream cheese in the middle
Dinner: - Potatoes, baked beans and cordon bleu

Snack: - 250ml fat cottage cheese with less raisins

Before going to bed (gonna make it in 30minutes): - 250ml fat cottage cheese

 

Drinks: 2.4L WATER

 

Steps: About 11.7k

 

I hope im going to be so sore in my back, that my backpack will hurt picking up, and putting it on my back :D

So today I had a non intentional day off :')

Although I walked allot more with le SO my food and drinks were horrid xD

I loved it though. Slept too little to actually function (due to my Deadline week T__T)

 

Breakfast: 8 crackers with cheese spread

Lunch: Fries (Yeah yeah I know xD)

Snack: Some ham, some rice with kerry and chicken, and some tiny potato (Im a regular food critique for supermarkets, so i take one bite a time and send the rest back)

Dinner: Grilled chicken, salad and fries (went out for dinner)

 

Drinks: 830ml of coke, and 2.1L water.

 

Steps: Over 19K

 

Im so tired and still sitting in a train and wont be home before midnight.

Can't wait to see my bed.

 

Tomorrow my cardio (run) and leg day! gonna work on my butt more than my legs cuz im getting a saggy butttt :P

haha yeah... my run is worse than my walk... i used to walk allot when i was in boyscouts, so my legs are still used to walking big distances a day (25km was my max once, but the plan is to walk 40km next year during "the walk of the stranger" which is a nightly walk from Rotterdam to The Hague, in rememberance to all the refugees and other "strangers".

and yeah my run is getting better :D i can run 2min15sec at 9km/hour now! when i started i could barely run 30seconds xD

but youll get there! just keep on breaking ur records and suddenly! ull walk a 15k without pain in the footsies!

I woke up feeling so tired I almost turned back onto my side, but I had to go to school.

After some noms and many sighs I packed my back and walked to the subway.

When I was at my destination, I noticed I really didnt feel well, not in - omg im getting sick -, but more like - Ugh stupid hay fever -. I dont get the whole droopy, sniffy kinda hay fever (thank god) but I get really dry (and infectious) eyes and just an overwhelling feeling of tired due to pollen.

So I bought myself a can of Monster Energy drink, because I just cant miss a day of school... Deadline week starts in 10days!

 

Went to class, and actually was pretty productive during the last 4hours of my day (the first 2 were... yeah I was not there mentally).

 

After school I went to the gym for school again. I really love the guy whose making sure we're all there, he really motivates you. When I entered he was all: Hey sports-lady! How are you feeling today!
So that was kinda nice, since when I was walking up to that gym the tiredness and ugh-ness came back + empty stomach = horrid combo for motivation.

 

I did my Zombie-Run training, and JEZUS that went well! Like wowh! I ran 5,7K(!!!) in 43:30 minutes, with a pace of 7:48! Im under the 8! when I started out running 3weeks ago my pace was 9:29/km! *happy and proud panda* Also I can run 2:15minutes on 9km/h now, whilst when I started it wasnt even close to 30seconds xD

 

Also did some dumbell presses (15x24kg, 12x28kg, 8x16kg)

Some overhead presses (Did not count those, 20kg)

Some barbell rows (did not count those, 20kg)

and some leg presses (15x50kg, 15x60kg, 15x70kg)

 

by that time I felt drained, got into the shower and went home.

 

Foodthings:

 

- Breakfast: 7Crackers with cheese spread

- Lunch: Forgotten that o.o

- Dinner: Endive stew with meatballs (hmm carbs)

- Snack: Fat Cottage Cheese

              4Crackers with Cheese spread

 

Drinks: 0.5L Monster Ripper - 2,1L Water

Steps: 17.1K

 

Tomorrow full cardio day, Another Zombie Run, but then outside. My strategie is to run as far away from my house, and use The walk to get back :3 it works ;)

Since early spring = OMG ALLERGY mode I am a useless bag of bones atm :')

I cant propperly wake up with a mixture of insane sugar levels + a high dose of cafeine, combined in a 0.5L can of Monster energy drink... And it sucks.

My eyes are dry, I sneeze constantly, I get headaches out of nowhere and an occasional eye infection makes this my "fav." moment of the year. Also my sun allergy is back, worse than ever.

So I due to the stuff above, and deadline week coming up (starting next tuesday), Im not as active as I'd like to be.

I sleep too little, eat to less (and the wrong) food, drink too less (and also bad stuff), and am a bit cranky. My stommach suddenly started to cramp and be all meh!

But oh well! I worked out yesterday, so I atleast tried something. Am a bit sore (wutt sore? I never got sore! So PROGRESS) in the back, chest and hammies, so good stuff ;)

 

Socialwise i am getting my monthly dose of social stuff day after tomorrow, I'm pretty much an extravert person, with too much alone time :') I will be with my SO upcomming weekend, which will mean: Healthy eating in the evening (I cook so sucks to be him, he loves his microwave and frying pan too much, although he looks yummy), too much smoking, too much booze (I want to booze up with him cuz we rarely do it so meh) and allot of activity :) We're planning a bikeride, which is nice.

 

So that's another reason my stress levels are higher than usual. Since Ill go to him this Friday, I want 95% of my schoolwork done, and ready to submit, on Friday before 16:00 or so. So i'll be able to enjoy a stressless weekend with my love.

 

I decided that due to all this hassle I will have a "vacation" week. I know I wont workout of be active enough, I know I'll eat poorly, I know it sucks (i think it sucks) but apparently I need this now, to survive all the things I'm doing right now.

 

So now at 00:06AM Im going to finish another thing for homework, or maybe even 2 and probably will do an allnighter due to it but hey! It's worth it and Ill work extra extra hard next week to kick myself for being a tard (for not starting earlier on my homeworks :'D)

I notice we both started around the same time too (Oct 2013) and we both reached halfway checkpoint around the same time!

Thanks man but ur way more inspiring than I am :) I love ur progress shot and hope ull enjoy the new possibilities in life you'll have :)

Currently im on a little week off since I worked out 5 or 6x a week for 10weeks straight + stress from deadline week at school + allergies = kicking my butt (and motivation)

But from tuesday on ill pick up training and such again! ;D

So i am back from my week off :)

This weekend I've walked miles and miles on a fantasy fair, went on other adventures with my SO

 

I came to the conclusion that Burger King burgers are discusting to me now, so thats something new :')

 

Today im starting of slow with a one hour walk and some push-ups and other things from the bbww, just to get the hang of it again

Also I f*cked up my hamstring again, so no running for me currently and ALLOT of stretching :)
