Whoops - forgot to log - lots of walking and basic workouts (pushups, situps, body-weight squats)

Got the guts to finally film my movements today... it was awkward - I think some of they gym staff were concerned. We shall see if I get "feedback"

Today was a little light - just did the below movement test to graduate to beginner module 2 on EPLifeFit. This is so little compared to what I did in crossfit last year, but now I'm taking it slow and building up. Let's see what lies ahead. Also, I did it unbroken, so, slight progress

Workout A (last done June):

Squat 155 5x5

Bench 100 5x5

Barbell Row 115 5x4, then 4

Workout B (last done July 2 - yesterday)

Squat 160 5x5

Overhead Press 85 5x5 (FINALLY completed)

Deadlift 205 1x5 (only 1 set of deadliest allowed)

PROGRESS!!

Also had my first unbroken 2 mile run (unbroken meaning no walking or stopping) - first one in YEARS.

Love to the nerds.

Oh, hello

I hope I'm not the only "Oh Hello" fan on NF - but the point is HELLO old battle log. Time to revive this (again).

Template for the log:

Wake time -

Workout -

Eating - clean? calories? protein?

To start, I was up at 4:50am! Not quite where I want to be, but huge improvement - will post rest of the day later

2/8/2017 slice...

As noted above, was up 4:50am

Workout - walked about 45 minutes (not much else)

Eating - was clean... until evening, when my later-night snacking happens. This is where I fail most often - and it might best be solved by my early mornings (forcing earlier bed times). I'd love to have a habit of being done eating after a 5-ish dinner. Otherwise, I will just keep destroying all progress made in the day.

My focus after dinner tonight: Nothing tastes as good as being fit feels

Up at 6 today (but I'm in Eastern Time today, so more like 5am CST).

Did bodyweight 3A from academy

4rounds:

5 step ups (each leg (used the hotel couch ledge after removing cushions)

5 bodyweight push ups

8 Luggage-weight rows (instead of band pull-apart - no bands on this trip)

Finished with 1 set of 40 second side-planks (40 seconds each side) - these really hurt, and were NOT pretty

I'm SO out of shape, but it feels good to move. One day at a time.
