While I'm not in the 800 club yet, I'm getting closer.  I tested my 1rm today on a few things.  I use this calculator to do the math for me.

Bench 1rm calculated = 174 (135lbs for 9 reps)

Squat 1rm calculated = 238 (225x3.  Pre injury I did 5x5@225.  Grrrrr for lost ground)

OHP (which I know doesn't count for 800 club numbers) 1rm calculated = 114 (95lbs x7, three freaking times.  Grrr)

I'm going to test my deadlift Monday, after a visit with my chiropractor.  I didn't want to test 4 compounds on the same day.  I know my DL won't bring me the 388 needed to hit 800 club but I'll probably hit the 700s for totals.

How did your deadlift go?

After today's participation in the Salubrious Spring Strength Skirmish I have come painstakingly close to joining the club whilst still staying just outside of the door.

After totaling 357.5 kg or as you would want the numbers 788 lb. I am now as close as ever to joining up!

I will have a kinda anti-theme for this in my next challenge though since I plan on NOT doing any max-attempts until the next virtual meet. This might or might not sink my chances of joining before than since as I am on Strong Lifts I will hit the 800 mark somewhere during the challenge unless I stall which I am expecting to do in both dead-lifts and squats pretty soon =(

Off to the next challenge and still with the exclusive club house and the elaborate hand shake in my sights!

788 is awesome!  Way to go!  If you wanted, you could try just one at a time throughout the next several weeks until you hit a total of 800.

Cool. Can I get in on this? It happens to be one of the goals in my current challenge. (Didn't even know this existed.)

P.S. I'm curious about how much the people competing here weigh.

Absolutely!!  Glad to have you here.

I hit 810 in the Salubrious Spring Strength Skirmish at 163 lbs bodyweight.

I'm in. I'll attempt at the end of the next challenge, so probably early September. I think I'm pretty close if not there already. I was repping 275x5 on deads before injury, down to 225x7. Currently squatting 195x8 and benching 165x8. Estimates put that at 730-something. Assuming I get my deadlift back up this should be doable.

Any equipment restrictions? I only use a belt and chalk.

Standard powerlifting order ie squat then bench then deadlift?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think it was "an all at one time" thing. I think it is your best lift in a relatively small time limit. Not like, I benched500 ten years ago. Although, all in the same day is more impressive. In that case, I haven't made it yet. Technically, since my 260, and 250, squat was not deep enough, I am not in, YET.
