Do you know if there are going to be group goals/challenges or just goals we set ourselves for ourselves?

And the Paleo chili sounds good. If you find any good recipes, you should post them.

I have no clue about the challenges. It seems a lot like the runners are all moving at their own pace (no pun intended) and all working toward different goals, so I made my own to keep myself motivated. We could definitely talk about it on the squad page, though. I'm sure there are squad challenges we could all make, but with some of us just wanting to move, and some of us training for 5 or 10k, or full marathons, I don't know what is sufficiently challenging/appropriate.

And recipes will 100% get posted up on here. No worries there! I am a massive food geek and love sharing food!

Hey Siha! I saw that your thread was looking a little bare and lacking of support! Go get 'em!

What was your most epic success and/or epic fail this week?

Aww, thanks Draco! Support is awesome!

Lessee...

Epic success has to be my 33 minute 5k and actually getting my workout done last night despite a serious case of the blahs.

Epic fail was Saturday's run. It just sucked on so many levels. Bah!

That's a great time! Or, wait, is it? I don't do the whole running thing, so I don't know. haha...

What happened on your run? How are you gonna do better this week?

Good time for me, seeing as I haven't ran in over 2 years. Second run I didn't account for the fact that my body wasn't used to running and hence staged a revolt 1.5 miles in. I just need to pace myself better. And also not choose runs on a steady incline. That too. :)

Haha. Easier said than done, especially where I live.

Good job, though! I'm proud of you :D

good work with the running! What's the current progress on the saving plan?

As soon as my husband returns from his conference, we're going to go open a joint savings account. I can then transfer money into it every pay cycle online. Hopefully we can jointly drop a nice chunk of change into it.

BAM! New recipe :)

Have to admit, I stole this one from Spezzy, but it is awesome. It's actually making me like pork chops as a whole. I fed this to our friends the first time I made it, and realized later in the evening that we all had a full on paleo supper without even realizing (we had a spinach salad with it).

Week 2 Check-In

Fitness:

Running: 2/2 I feel it is fair to count three days of interval running off and on as my second running requirement. I 'grock sprinted' at least 10 times over the weekend.

Strength: 3/3 Again, third workout was 'in the field'. Lifting tables and benches. Hauling wood. Picking up heavy things. Swinging a flaming battle axe (true story).

Dance: 2/1 WIN! Much dancing happened. Including dancing with palm torches!

A- if only because workouts and running were subbed for 'in the field'training vs original planned workout

Food:

Be paleo/primal: CHECK PLUS! Maintained diet at an even with non paleo/primal communal meals for 300.

Primal Blueprint: FINISHED

New Recipes: 2/3 YUM!

Life:

Clean: GETTING THERE

Studio: NOT PAINTED

Save: $0/$1,000 WORKING ON IT (checking acct. is growing in the meantime)

B

Looks like all is well! General Battle Log update to come once I recover from lack of sleep and fire breather's sunburn.
