I completely failed my running challenge. I also dropped the ball on my strength training. No excuses, just a fail week. I will do better next.Though, I am not going to lie. A week off was kind of awesome, if unintentional. I had time to sleep, take care of dumb stupid things, crunch my deadline, and recoup the pulled calf muscle in my leg. I also discovered that my inverted rows have improved and that push-ups with my feet elevated are easier than regular ones with my feet on the ground, and that big girl push ups are now feasible again. Surprise. Maybe the week off was good? Link to comment
cacodaemonia
Yeah, it's weird how even though you'd think taking some time off would make you weaker, sometimes it helps. cacodaemonia
Amazing week! Just reading your update put me in a good mood. I'm still a bit nutty about my weight, though certainly a lot better than I used to be. How often do you weight yourself? And what sort of recipe do you think you'll make for that last one? I'm still a bit nutty about my weight, though certainly a lot better than I used to be. How often do you weight yourself? And what sort of recipe do you think you'll make for that last one?Yay, glad my workout gave you some cheer. I read your workout blog too when I'm not motivated. I weigh myself when I remember to. Sometimes I'll do it three days in a row, sometimes I won't for a week. Depends on where the scale is. I think ours is broken, though, since it comes in at different weights in different places in the house. Usually, I am just more amused with how much my clothing weighs than my actual weight, and will measure myself with and sans articles of clothing to see what I am carrying around all day. (I found out one of my necklaces comes in at half a lb.)I'm making a Chawan Mushi, or Chinese egg custard, as soon as I have time, which will <crosses finger> hopefully be tonight. Busy weekend coming up. Link to comment
