After completely failing at the last challenge I started, and probably missing the last (I've lost track of time) its safe to say I'm pretty much starting from scratch again... I've just had a chaotic month, with 5 days in London, 5 days at home and then 17 days in Malta for our Honeymoon... In that time I've eaten more bread and cake than I can count and gained 10lb. I don't regret it, it was an amazing month and I got to go to some beautiful places and do some amazing things (I swan with DOLPHINS!!!) However, it's now time to refocus (again) on getting fit and healthy... I had to have an MRI on my back yesterday as my Chiropractor thinks I have some degeneration of the discs in my lower back, so I now have a two week wait to get those results... Because of my back playing up (it varies some days as to how mobile I can be, some I'm perfectly fine, others I hobble along like an old woman) I don't want to focus on 'exercise' as much as diet and flexibility... I'd love to start the '100 push up challenge' and the '200 squat challenge' again, but I'm not going to put those down as I don't know if I'd be able to do it... So instead I'll be focusing on getting back to 90% paleo, increasing the amount of walking I do, and trying to do stretching 2-3 times a day... Life Quest...Organise sewing room... It's become a bit of a dumping ground atm, with fabric and boxes thrown every which way. By the end of this challenge, I'd like to have a place for everything and everything in its place! Fitness Side Quest...Keep moving. Move as much as possible. Bend, flex, twist, stretch. Walk, hop, run, jump, crawl, roll, swim, climb. Doesn't matter what it is, just move! Motivations...I want to be happy. I want to be able to look in the mirror and think 'I look good today'. I want to be able to take a compliment without doubting the sincerity behind it. I want to be able to run and jump and swim and play to my hearts content, without worrying about putting my back out. I want to learn to love me. You are still joining in challenge rather than just going, oh well I'll join the next one and that is awesome Also sounds like you've had a lot on and hope you had a wonderful honey money. I am sure you can get back on refocusing and kicking ass! I really mean it been thinking about how you are getting on, meant to send a PM but glad to hear you were away adventuring!
