I read in the 6WC faq that you have to remain in the same guild for the entirety of the challenge. Could one still fulfill this rule and belong to two guilds during one challenge?

I have followed a second guild while being part of another, but as I understand it, you only get points from the guild you are joined to!

Well that all depends on what you mean by 'belong'.  You can only have 1 thread in 1 guild for the whole challenge. But you can totally just talk to other people in different guilds. Like, if you were a warrior but said 'hi' to a few people here with the adventurers, you wouldn't be 'breaking' any rules or anything.

 

However, if you are a warrior, have your thread there, and after like 2 weeks want to be a druid and put your thread there instead;  generally you should just wait until the 6wc is over.  It's just to keep people consistent and not have people jump around all the time.

 

As for what CA mentioned about minis, they're guild-based. Adventurers can do Adventurer mins. They can't do Warrior minis or vice versa. (stat-wise)

Well they can do them, they just can't take the stat bonuses, so the question is if there's as much of a point to do them.

My weakness is crisps, potato chips to those outside the UK. And since the sales trend now is 200g bags for 'sharing', once I open a pack I munch all the way through. I'm awfully good at sharing with myself :)

A great crisp substitute is baked parsnips. Sliced and tossed with a little oil, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder before baking to crispy goodness. 

They're even white like potatoes. :)

Commenting to sub and drool over more food porn...

 

slicing sweet potatoes very thin (with a mandolin seems to work best) and frying in coconut oil is amazing as a snack...my girlfriend has me hooked on them and I don't even like chips that much! My personal battle log (link in my signature, hasn't been updated since I started challenge threads, don't judge!) has some wonderful (paleo and whole30) recipes that we liked if anyone is looking for them...

That's pretty much about it, yeah. I pre-cooked the bacon a little bit (wasn't getting good results otherwise). Greased up pan (because I'm me I used bacon grease), ran a piece of bacon around the side of each muffin cup, cracked an egg inside each, and then stuck another piece of bacon on top, then threw it in the oven...for around 20-30 minutes @ 375 Degrees Fahrenheit  (iirc).

Hi Everyone. I'm new to nerd fitness and mostly New to the whole regularly working out thing, so is this where I am suppose to be? No clear path yet.

Oh man! bacon egg muffins and food porn.  Here is my food porn of the day. Seasoned and broiled skinless/boneless chicken thighs!

It's my quick and easy meal for tonight. I also made Mel Joulwan's Moroccan lamb meatballs the other day so that's for lunch. YAY! Okay, heading to the pool now!

Massively distracted by the egg and bacon cups and made me think of the bacon lattice, something my friends make when cooking up their Elvis Toastie.

Oh yeah, I've made a bacon-weave before. I made a huge boss burger one year for my g/f's birthday.  Fried up some mushrooms, peppers, and onions with cheese.  Then I baked a huge skillet-sizes hamburger. Then I baked another one, but I built a tiny 'meat wall' around the edging.  Then I put the shrooms, peppers, onions, and cheese mix into the 'meat wall' one, then put the skillet-sized one on top and baked it a little longer. It turned into a massive 4 pound stuffed burger.  Then, I made a bacon-weave (with a pitch of maple syrup and brown sugar). Threw that on top.  Finally, a custom bun made out of a huge pancake.  Quite possibly my finest work.

One of my friends made the infamous Bacon BBQ Explosion...It's basically just sausage removed from the casing, done up with a dry rub mixed with bacon slathered onto a nice bacon weave, rolled up, bbq sauce applied, and then cooked...It's an awesome little treat.
