Kobnach Defeats Depression

Recommended Posts

What about a PvP challenge? In order to substitute the trainer, I mean. Maybe if you have ONE person you should encourage and who could encourage you, you feel in the mood to keep exercising yourself. And, of course, another thing I think you should focus on the next challenge (nothing about skipping! ;) ) is depression. Try to think on whatever that works for you, and make it a goal.

OK, finally making an attempt at tabulating my results.

              avg steps  avg veg  positive

target     >=7000        >=5        >=7

Week 1    5762           3             4

Week 2    5450           3.5          2    (only recorded veg for 6 days)

Week 3    6072           2.6          1    (only recorded veg for 5 days)

Week 4    4765                          0

Week 5    4889           5             0    (only 1 day of veg recorded)

Week 6    5328           2.6          1

total       32266         78.2          8

divisor        6            26              6

average   5378          3              1.33

5378/7000 = .76 * 4STA --> 3 STA

3/5 * 4 con --> 2.4 CON

1.33/7 * 4 wis  --> .76 wis

depression testing - the free floating sleep worked. I didn't write it up, but it got me into better shape.

I didn't try anything else so 1/3.  never did decide what stat. I think I'll call it wisdom.

I think the *daily* positive post goal was excessive, in retrospect. But it's the goal I had, and failed spectacularly at. *not* giving myself an exemption for the days I couldn't access nerd fitness - three were other places I could have made positive posts.

I don't like partial points, so rounding wisdom up and con down

--> 3 STA, 2 CON, 2 WIS

Interesting that the floating sleep worked for you. I tend to do something similar and it helps.

You made progress and you kept at it - that's a win!

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity:

but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.

~T. E. Lawrence

When we contemplate the whole globe as one great dewdrop, striped and dotted with continents and islands,

flying through space with other stars all singing and shining together as one, the whole universe appears as an infinite storm of beauty.
