Hey! Great goals! There does seem to be like a lot of enthusiasm for this challenge! (It's my first too!)

Excited to see someone with goals similar to mine, what strength routine are you doing??

My favorite source of recipes atm is Happy Herbivore. They sell mealplans but have a lot of info on their site.

I didn't subscribe to the mealplan, just bought 2 plans I liked and am alternating them for some weeks.

I also have her book, Happy Herbivore light and lean and I looooove the bean burgers.

 

I have a lot of german  sites I like but I think, they wouldn't help :)

Thanks for coming by and offering me support!  I love how you've set everything up, it's so well-planned!  And I LOVE black widow!  Although, frankly, if I'm ever brave enough to do cosplay, my first one will be black canary.  There seems to be a lot of good options out there... :-)

I love everybody's enthusiasm, it makes me really giggly because I'm super glad I found NF. I might have finally found some fitness friends that are geeky like me. :-)

 

For my strength routine right now, I mostly focus on one part of the body per day and do 4 sets of 10 reps of different moves. I focus on heavier weights than when I first started fitness (I used to not lift past 5lbs in the fears of gaining muscle, haha, aww). Anyway, thank you for the support!

I love Natasha so much. I could talk about her all day and still giggle in glee thinking about how awesome CATWS was. I'm really bad, haha.

Day 1 of the challenge:

 

I went to the gym this morning and did an hour long session of strength training. The focus was on the upper body today and mostly my back; which will be sore tomorrow, oh gosh I love this feeling! 

 

I did 4 sets of 10 reps of everything and today on the single arm dumbell row, I went from 20lbs to 25lbs! I know It's a small difference but I was super proud of myself! Still am actually. :P

 

I also did biceps curls with 10lbs, tricep extensions with 15lbs, some rowing (? I think that's what It's called) and other things that I am forgetting right now because my brain is the one of a gold fish. (I'll try to write things down next time :) )

 

The whole day I ate pretty well. Everything was from the house, so 0 takeouts. (woot woot!) 

 

All in all, it was a super busy day off (as always).

  • Running: 0 in 3
  • Takeouts: 0
  • Life quest: I did my laundry but no cleaning yet.

Day 1 of the challenge:

The whole day I ate pretty well. Everything was from the house, so 0 takeouts. (woot woot!)

I'm halfway through the third book and am really enjoying it. I think GRRM has amazing writing skills and he's so blunt, haha. But yes, I'm totally recommending the ASOIAF series to everyone I know. Oh and thank you for the support! :D

Totally forgot to do this yesterday so: 

Height: 5'5

Weight: 146,4lbs

Body Fat: (29% at the gym, and 25,5% on my home scale. I'm on a fasted state at home and had a breakfast + water at the gym. So I'm not too sure!)

I'll try do my measurements at some point, haha. (TBA)

 

Oh and here right now, It's 7am and I woke up 1 hour early to go jog. So yes, I'm on my way out with my Saucony's to go hit the pavement. Thank you again for the support ya'll, you're the best! :D

Leothil, the books come out splitted here. Means 1 book in english are 2 books in german. Very expensive... :(

Woot, good start Arya!

 

And you're reading some Song of Fire and Ice too... bonus points. I'm going to reread book 5 this month, in the slim hopes that book 6 won't be too far away. I read it two years ago (or was it longer? whenever it first came out, probably closer to 3-4 years) but I can't seem to remember a dang thing that happened in it.
