Wibble Getting her Stretch On!

Ridiculously excited to be able to actually join a guild this time around! :D

 

Okay, so last time was about generally getting my strength/fitness/flexibility up and I'm specialising a bit now. I'm going for all my general fitness stuff but also trying to work towards handstands and splits - hopefully I'll manage it! I couldn't believe how much of a difference last challenge made so I'm optimistic.

 

Main Quest

 

Manage at least a wall handstand, make good progress on front and side splits.

 

Side Quests

 

  1. Do my strength exercises and stretches every day (where possible)
  2. Run at least twice a week (where possible) and continue to build up to 5k
  3. Go outside every day (I am so bad for sitting at my computer all day)

Life Quest

 

My IBS has been kind of controlling my life for the past few weeks so my quest is to get it under control; this means no more mindless eating crap - it should be a treat - and medicating properly.

 

I'll also probably be following along with the handstands mini-quest because it ties in so well it's creepy!

 

Rules

 

This is mainly so that I have this down in writing so I can't back out; next week I am going camping so I will be unable to do my exercises and probably won't run twice that week - that's why the 'where possible' is there and it does not excuse me not feeling like it. With regards to IBS, I'm allowed to eat junk I just need to medicate properly and make sure it doesn't become a habit. 

 

Ok, now I just have to follow through on this!

I hope you had a good time camping :D

 Camping was great, now I just have to get back into doing exercise :P

Update:

 

So the first week went pretty well, I did my exercises most days but I didn't manage a run so I'm not off to the best start. Then I was camping (unreasonably sunny for England) and now I'm back - woo! So far this week I've done my exercises everyday apart from the day I ran 2.5km on so I think that's allowable, I've been trying some of the mini-challenge things but I'm really inept at walking down the wall. My stomach's also been pretty good recently so hopefully this will continue.
