Silmarilliane's First Quest!

Introduction:

Hello, I am Silmarilliane and I am a nerd. I believe this started with a floppy disc of the DOS game Rogue that I played since I can remember (and seriously, the best game ever). General other nerdiness includes LOTR, Star Trek, Sherlock Holmes and mediumly difficult board games – currently Arkham Horror.

In 2011 I lost 50lb down to 11 stone, put a load of it back on in 2012 and have meandered around between 12-13 stone since. As I’m prone to medium length obsessions, I feel the ‘weight loss’ obsession has passed me by, so am aiming to turn ‘size loss’ into a new one (it’s different, right?!)

I live in London and have two cats, Anyanka and Rivia. 

 

Main Quest:

To be less flabby in general and fit better into a UK size 12 (currently buy stretchy size 12!)

 

Goals:

1) Do the Beginner Bodyweight Workout 3 times per week

2) Do the Interval training twice per week (I already go to Zumba once a week)

3) Reduce binge eating at the weekend

 

Life Quest: 

To (acceptably!) dress as Seven of Nine for Halloween. Or just for fun.

Hello!

 

I’m Hazard, an ambassador for the Assassin Guild.  It looks like with the Beginner Bodyweight workout you may have goals similar to many in our guild work on, and we’d love to help you reach your goals!

 

If you ever have any questions or need help with anything, I'll happily assist you.  An easy way to get my attention is to use the quote button at the bottom right corner of any of my posts.  I have the forum setting turned on to alert me when somebody quotes me using that button, so it's a quick easy way to let me know you're talking to me. :)  You can also get in touch with me by posting on my own challenge topic or by using the forum private messenger system (the envelope button at the very top of the screen).

I am feeling you on the weight thing.  Over the years I have gone up as far as 13 1/2 stone and as low as 9.  But had problems sticking to it.

 

This time have no doubts I will get and stay at a healthy weight!

First day doing the bodyweight workout, it's great! Was worried I wouldn't be able to do it all... Just another 5 weeks 5 days til I complete my quest :D

Honestly its gone before you know it :) and your onto the next one :).

OMG!!!! Seven of Nine costume...???? AWESOME!!! That is epic! I'm totally in :DNow stop scoffing and start kicking arse!!!! Hey, you asked for it! :D

I did indeed ask for it. And today (after going out for a pretty substantial family lunch) I walked past an ice cream van, went to queue, thought of my 'reduce binge at weekends' and walked on by, woop!

so one week in and I have completed the beginners bodyweight workout three times, and had my first go at HIIT with sprinting and jogging (sometimes walking!) the other HIIT session I had planned was replaced by zumba, and I'm looking forward to my next go where I'll try to replace more of the walk sections with jogging.

 

also managed to keep within calories on the weekend for the first time in several months! yeay me!
